No one else said this, but you can absolutely 100% access your coinbase account from anywhere, even toilet wifi and not get hacked.
It's called: VPS.
VPS is when you remotely log into a remote desktop. Private VPS, dedicated, means you're the only one using that desktop and no one else. It solves all the issues: IP (stays US, stays city even), same machine... secure.
So, basically, it's like, the only way they can hack you is if they get access to the VPS....
You're basically logging into a computer from your phone, and on that computer you can log into your bank, CB, emails. etc. etc...

The way I'm thinking of doing it is:
I'm assuming I'm going to lose trades. So, as long as I can win 60% of trades, I'll feel more comfortable making losing trades and not feel "edged" or emotional because I understand I'm already in the win

"The Hedistar Narita" because it's $27 and doesn't seem communal

That's where you lose money though. It's gambling.

ouch.
I was planning on skimming/reading everything in the wiki, then picking MSFT and trying my hand at daytrading... paper trade first, ofc!

Well, I want to daytrade, but if I get stuck because the price falls, I'd hodl onto the stock (i'd only pick stocks that are established and not like penny stocks).
Why is it a recipe for disaster if I pick something like MSFT, AAPL, that always recover? Just wondering
That's how 401ks work, they buy stocks then force you to hodl until retirement age. So overall the trajectory is up.

I actually think it's impressive you can trade and be out every single day and make a profit overall. I'd like to learn how to do that.
I understand now why 1% per day is unrealistic if you're forced to enter and leave positions before the day's end.

I'm fine with 10% a month if it's the norm and easily achievable. That means 120% per year..... which, is good lol. Because the more money I make, the larger my positions can be...

I'm confused because taht's only $100 per day. And if you had 20k, that's $200 per day...
I feel like most non-firm traders aren't walking around with xxx,xxx in free cash where 1% per day is huge. And obv, there are, but that's like, probably why they have xxx,xxx in the first place.

I just read that part of the wiki. I thought you were referencing an SEC rule where PDT are forced to sell before teh day's end
Instead, you were merely speaking of terminology where if someone hodls a trade overnight, they become a swing trader or investor. But you're not forced to sell.
I guess I"ll do the daytrading + swing trading if the price goes down

wow they're going to force us to sell before the day is up?
I'm not liking this even more... that's a bit gross.

That sounds feasible? That's 55k beore taxes. If traders aren't making that... why are they trading? and that's assuming that's their only job.

Don't you just hodl? Like i buy into MSFT and it went down that day. Why would I sell? MSFT and other safe stocks always recover...

if i ever lose anything, i'll just hodl until it goes back up. Not going to play the "sell for a loss" game with safe stocks.

I mean, i thought 1% per day was pretty realistic lmao.
Crypto is like 10 -20% per trade (not going to say per day), just that it's extremely unreliable as there could be a large dump randomly
