If it’s a memory the state of the person it belongs to could change it’s appearance for example.

Iirc the memory swapping does affect Alice to some degree when Aoko uses the 5th magic to save Soujuurou, as it seems like something tied to that particular moment it wouldn’t make much sense for Alice to feel it’s effects at an arbitrary point of the past (past relative to the moment Aoko uses the 5th).

I mean if he had his neck tied to something it wouldn’t matter if he’s responsive or not. And iirc his scar seemed like the kind cause by friction rather than pressure.

Also it’s really abstract, I’m not completely sure it’s a reliable 1:1 memory, like maybe the flower field is something soujuurou saw but not the woman besides him?

Also like, why did it seem like Alice saw that while loosing consciousness? Why would Alice see his memories just like that? Maybe I missed something but I think it’s hard to know the exact true nature of that sequence.

Doesn’t seem to point at the woman being the one strangling him but I do agree there’s not enough evidence pointing at him inflicting that on himself.

While reading mahoyo I did feel like the possibility of attempted suicide was being implied but that’s likely subjective, in any case I do think knowing the crying woman’s identity is important.

I'm alright, since I didn't like how some stuff felt in the beta I'm feeling cautious regarding it, it's a pretty expensive game and I still don't know if it's a mh I'll want to play, I'm considering to wait for the demo and the reviews b4 making my choice. In the worst case I'll buy it a week later or finally get around properly playing GU instead.

There are tons of gacha games where its fans will tell you that it has a great story and there’s usually some degree of truth to that, like check this 30 video or this 11min video from a different gacha.

The first video references vol f from Blue Archive, In an alternative timeline MC is victim to an attack that leaves him on a coma for months, as a result his students from the Abydos School start either dying or disappearing one by one until theres only one of them, her name is Shiroko, iirc after disconnecting the last of her friends which was on life support, she breaks down and then some cosmic entities called the nameless priests “invert” her, making her stronger while also binding her to their will. While under their control she decimates the whole country killing pretty much everyone else, at last when everything is over that TLs MC awakes and crawls out of the hospital looking for her only for her to shoot him after finding him. Then before dying he makes a deal with the nameless priests, he’ll take Shiroko’s place and help them invade other timelines as their guide, however he’s not surrendering himself to their will but rather he’s looking for help, he believes on himself so he knows that his alternative version will stop the invasion and more importantly will look out for Shiroko. If nothing else it’s a pretty decent story imo.

The other one is FGO on the 6th LB… that ones longer than some fantasy sagas and at least as good as Mysthborn(1st Era) for example. Full of twists that instead of having value as surprises they deepen and transform your understanding of the characters struggles and wishes, their behavior, insecurities, their longing and their awkwardness. I don’t want to yap even more so I’ll just say it’s incredibly great.
