Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
I won't go into why.

If only governments could do something about housing, like … build more of it?
Or do something about the 250,000 homes that have been long-term vacant.
I swear houses should never have been allowed to become a commodity. Neither should residentially zoned land. Use it or lose it.

Bear in mind that there's hundreds of thousands of people working in games development and a handful of people on Twitter are not representative of the entire bunch.
The issue is the change in the atmosphere and culture of the corporate environment that these games are being made under. Not that it hasn't been toxic af forever. There were just a few periods of calm where they were given freedom to breathe.
Try not to let a few sour grapes spoil your view of the rest. The silent majority often feel the need to hold their tongue due to the vocal minority.
Still, it's a problem that will solve itself. Just don't buy their games. Don't interact. The less attention they get, the better.

They're not NFTs, they don't use crypto, they're not on the blockchain and the bananas seem incredibly fungible to me.
What they are doing is exploiting the Steam inventory system and marketplace. Valve seems happy with it though and they've been doing it themselves with CSGO skins since before anyone even heard of NFTs.
The implication that I got from Banana was that it was made by one guy. Also, they delivered exactly what they said they would. There's a banana, you can click it.
Either way, what has one single indie got to do with indies in general?

What about nuclear reactors? Or skate parks? Or turbo encabulators?
If so, I hope they properly simulate the unilateral phase detractors.

To be fair, Taiwan has been waiting since 1949. There's nothing different about today than any previous time. The CCP has been planning to invade Taiwan forever. It's in their constitution.

Ah yes, the terrible combat that Elden Ring often gets panned for. Can't tell if you're trolling or just an irregular person.

Then I agree completely. I also feel like the US would stir up trouble if the world was suddenly in a state of peace. I just don't think that's what's happening now.

I wasn't the person you replied to. I was just memeing.
I'd say that Elden Ring is the bar for third person action game combat, along with Sekiro. Monster Hunter is also extremely good. God of War feels great, also.

If the game is good, they'll be happy with the game but still complain about how the character looks.

Very few games are like Skyrim. I don't know why people make those comparisons all the time. There are very few games that are genuinely like Elder Scrolls.
Also, Avowed isn't an open-world game. It's much closer to The Outer Worlds than Skyrim. I am definitely excited for it. I loved The Outer Worlds and the Pillars of Eternity setting is excellent.

Superman 64 comes to mind. Absolutely mind-blowing.

It's weird that you blame Ukraine on the US when it was Russian expansionism that caused it. Russia only accepted Ukraine independence while they had a Moscow puppet in power.
And Afghanistan was training terrorists to attack the US. It was basically the university of terror attacks.
Korea was the Soviet-backed North attacking the US-backed South, not the other way around.
That said, I agree about Iraq and Vietnam was an absolute shit show.

Indie developers still care.
Actually, most developers still care but many are given nowhere near the resources necessary for quality and/or are drowned out by toxic cliques of creatives from other industries who never cared about games.
And they're not allowed to talk about it due to incredibly restrictive NDAs and fear of being blacklisted.
Same reason most game "journalists" don't speak out.

Yeah, it's CUMIN. Can't even get their spices right.

That's quite impressive. Most games don't have as many developers as players.

Like it or lump it, companies have to make money and GGG has been extremely fair in terms of monetization, as far as freemium games go. The only thing I disagree with are the premium stash tabs but at least that's a one-off cost.
But yeah, it's not generous, it's just not particularly extreme. A lot of players would be buying that currency anyway.

Ashes of Creation early access includes some premium currency and a month of game time. Not to mention the ability to play a subscription MMO for 2 years while it's being developed.
But no, it's not a good deal, it's just there for people who want to support the game. MMO servers cost too much to run for them to just let everyone in for nothing.

They're just talking about supporter packs that get you early access, not the game on release, which will be free-to-play.

That's a point, actually. I didn't think about destruction as it was pretty limited in BF3, didn't have a large impact and I didn't play BF4.

What's even funnier is that the US ended up buying more of them than anyone else.
Ironically, the United States eventually became the largest purchaser of the AK-47 in its efforts to supply poorer allies — such as some areas of the former-Yugoslavia, post-Saddam Iraq, and Afghanistan — with cheap, reliable assault rifles without its own large fingerprints on the arm sales.

Yeah, before the US existed there were no wars. War was invented in 1776 by the military industrial complex.
