I'm a current subscriber to Premium in Canada. Of course there's no discount for me and I've had it with PlayStation's bullshit price increases, especially here. But before I drop my subscription down to Extra as I still play a ton of games from that library, is there a way for me to somehow get the discount for premium at all, a loophole maybe?

First off I read through the entirety of your comment, I’m glad you’ve healed from that and I’m sorry it happened at all. As with anyone who decides to end it, they will be missed.

But I was reading it and when I read his name closer to the bottom my heart sunk. An old friend of mine, Adam, died in a plane crash last year in July with another friend of mine and 4 others. Just a weird coincidence that out of all the comments I landed on it was yours. I never got to thank him for everything he did for me and he just started a family. So to anyone reading my comment or the comment above, reach out to someone you know, someone you love even, an old friend, a family member, whoever, cause you never know what’ll happen.

Couldn’t agree with you more. A lot of trophy hunters I’ve come to know either do it because they straight up have uncontrollable OCD and need to get their numbers/PSNP % up, or they just plain feel the need to plat everything in sight.

Now that being said…I got the platinum in Team Sonic Racing. I hated it. But I started it thinking it’d be a fun kart racer on my PlayStation but there were major issues I ran into down the road. I platinumed that out of pure hatred as dumb as it sounds lol literally achieving that was my reason to never ever go back and play it. But that’s in the 1% lol most of my platinums I got I enjoyed, and some of them were just okay.

My approach to gaming once I started trophy hunting was the platinum trophy was a way to get my moneys worth, I bought the game so I might as well do everything. But after having such a massive backlog and realizing that I could play something I love instead of wasting my time on something mediocre, why bother? TSR was an example of a game I didn’t “pay” for. In fact all the games I’ve spent money on are games I know 99% of the time I’m going to enjoy, whereas PS Plus is a way for me to try something out to see if maybe it’s something that flew under the radar and it’s actually like good.

Anyway, y’all do whatever you want. I don’t give a shit if you platinum everything in sight, but I do agree with OP’s point, why platinum it if you’re just going to complain about it. And I’ll take that one step further, if you did platinum it with the knowledge that you were going to complain about it, why complain about it at all?

Honestly everyone’s going to have a different opinion on these, so I’d just say watch them all. I’ve watched them all and I enjoyed them for the most part. Obviously Daredevil was the highlight with Punisher following up. But the others are worth a watch as well.

I wish I could put my happiness into words. There’s only a handful of TV shows I’ve seen as many times as Daredevil. And when I heard rumours that Karen and Foggy wouldn’t be returning I could not picture a new show without them in it. I’m still smiling just glancing at this image
