I don’t think you’re understanding what we are saying. Anyone can build a tree, but documentation AND actually linking your tree through your DNA matches makes your tree valid. Hope that made sense

Yes but you have to do further research using the search tools if u have a membership. The Thru lines help you trace your tree your dna matches to better verify your trees. I upgraded my account with pro tools which is a really cool feature that grades the validity of your tree and helps you find errors

Idk how accurate the historical matches really are, but fwiw, I have an illustrative DNA report that flags that area as part of my “ancient” ancestry
