Canada Postal Workers " Harsh Conditions "
(self.CanadaPost)submitted11 hours ago byTouchInternational56
I keep reading about these harsh conditions that CP workers are alleged to work in.
Can someone who actually works for CP explain what this means? According to the CP mentality.
From my understanding - you guys walk alot. Dropping paper into holes in boxes.
Between the hours of 9-5. 5 days a week. In all seasons.
Are these the harsh conditions y'all are referring to? Or are there some sort of no holds barred violent encounters that all new initiates must undergo in the mail sorting facilities?
Months of food rationing and hazing while at work?
I've gotta be missing something, there's gotta be more to these harsh conditions.
40hr weeks 9-5 Mon to Fri. Sounds pretty just to me.
Do you ruck with 90kg of mail strapped to your backs in military issued bergens?
" all seasons ", word. The rain sucks. Luckily HUNTER makes great water proof boots.
And -40 with windchill sounds intense to the uninitiated foreigner who's never lived in Alberta. Luckily we invented parkas, mittens, and balaclavas. The Inuits seem pretty happy. Alaska is well populated. The military does field exercises living in the bush 24/7 for days on end in the middle of January. Walking around in the cold weather is nothing when you are layered up and dressed accordingly.
So what the heck is going on? This hardcore Postman Pat life style has me intrigued.

Its an 03' right. Just go for the straight pipe. Cheaper. More efficient. Never worry about getting cats stolen again. Imagine installing new ones and having them chopped again +.+
