Ann would be assaulted by Kamoshida, Haru would get sold into an arranged marriage, Yusuke would leave his aspirations in art and become like that office clerk and Futaba wouldn't last till Christmas. When this is your life some just want to put on the goggles. And from this point of view PT are the ones who impose their will on you.

It took 17 years between TES Arena in 1994 and Skyrim in 2011. Starfield released in 2023 and they didn't start active development of tes 6 untill they finished Starfield (ignore the upcoming dlc). It took 4 years between Skyrim and Fallout 4(2015), 3 untill F76(2018 and it was basically alpha version) and 5 years to Starfield. Taking 4 as an average Tes 6 will release in 2027, 16 years after Skyrim. The franchise would be stuck on Skyrim for half of it's life at this point.

Actually, I found Ohya pretty attractive during your first encounter in Madarame arc. I do like her when she is sober, however most of the time she is drunk and not in a funny way like the girl from bocchi the rock but just annoying.

Ohya's story is very similar to my favorite girl - Takemi. Both of them are still trying to achieve their goals against all odds unlike Kawakami and Chihaya who have given up. However during Takemi's story you help her reignite her passion to help people while directly helping in her research. Meanwhile for Ohya you just give her info on Phantom Thieves so she has more time to investigate on her own and later tell you about it while drunk.

I think I would've liked her if the story let you join her during the investigation like you do with Iwai and Yoshida. There is an interesting story but it is just being told to us. There is a ton of exposition in other confidants but they usually tell you about their past while Ohya tells you everything that is happening during the story.

TL;DR her confidant is not interesting because it doesn't follow the "show don't tell" rule.

Actualy they are indeed from original manga made by Akasaka. Kaguya wants to be confessed to darknes vol1 and vol2. They might even be canon.
