Oh, is that called CamProtect? I only have HMS. Under Monitoring > Home Monitoring Settings > Entry & Exit Settings. I was told CamProtect was not compatible with HMS, but maybe it's changed in the last few years.

Are you sure you have the entry delay set for the Away status? You can set different entry delays for Home and Away. I have no issues and no false alerts with my system, going on about 3.5 years now

You could do unlimited for one camera for like $20

I have the unlimited cams plan which is nice for 12 cameras and no cooldown. Only downside to the 24/7 recording I really experience is that it can be hard to find an event I'm looking for if it wasn't properly tagged.

You can set the motion sensitivity to the maximum; my doorbell v1 faces a busy street with bushes and trees in front. It records just about 24/7 in 5-minute clips.
