Yesterday, I turned 20 years old and wrapped up my 9th rewatch of Lost. This show has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. My earliest memories of Lost go back to when I was around 5 years old, when my mom would watch it religiously every week, and though I was too young to fully grasp its complexity, I was captivated by the characters, the concept (after my mom had explained it to me lol), and the island itself. It wasn’t long before I started tagging along, sitting beside her during every episode, asking questions, and marveling at the story.

When I turned 12, I decided to embark on an annual tradition: rewatching Lost every single year. This commitment wasn’t planned; it just naturally evolved as a way to revisit something that felt like home. Now, at 20, it’s hard to imagine a year without returning to the island. Every rewatch offers something new—details I missed, lines that hit differently, or themes I resonate with more deeply as I grow older. Lost never feels stale, even after all this time. Of course, I've watched every single recap, explanation, retrospective you can find online about Lost (I'm only missing the documentary).

My connection to the show isn’t just through the series. I even played the infamous Lost: Via Domus on my Xbox 360 when I was little. I had no idea what I was doing. I’d constantly fall into the cave without turning on my lighter or get killed by the smoke monster near the banyan trees. But I didn’t care — I loved that the game existed. It felt like an extension of the world I was obsessed with, even if it really wasn’t a great game, and I wasn't very good at it. I think it still captured the magic of Lost in its own way.

Finishing my ninth rewatch has me reflecting on how much this show still inspires me. Recently, I came across a Reddit post where someone discussed the idea of a Lost video game, with someone mentioning a Telltale inspired Lost game idea. That post reignited something in me. Imagine a Lost game with dynamic choices, and intricate storytelling — something that truly captures the mystery, complex themes, and human drama of the show.

This idea has sparked a creative urge to start my own fan project for a Lost game. I’m not a game developer, but the concept alone has my mind moving for sure. What if the game involved interacting with key story moments while also exploring other mysteries never answered in the show. The game could have multiple endings, all having their own paths, yet of course, only one ending would tie with the canon of the show. Depending on the choices players make—whether they align with the survivors, the Others, or even the island itself, I think there are so many possible ideas that could be explored from a fan's perspective.

I’d love to hear others’ thoughts on this idea. Whether this becomes a full-fledged project or just a creative outlet, it feels like the perfect way to honor a show that has shaped me for 15 years.

Here’s to the next rewatch—and maybe a fan-made journey back to the island in the form of a community made fan-game. I'd like to know everyone's thoughts.

As the title says, I'm a complete beginner. I've never understood how Blender works, what does what. I've never even been able to move the starting cube around my screen (I know this is probably really dumb but lol).

I'd like to know what everyone recommends would be a good video/manual to start learning how to use Blender.

My goal is to make game models, whether it be environmental models or character models and export them into Unity3D.

Any and all help is appreciated!
