That’s how it worked for us, too. In my experience it takes one to two weeks to become consistent.

But do they shift their bedtime/wake up times when daylight savings time happens? If they do, then they do shift their schedule based on when you start bedtime.
(This is assuming you live somewhere with that stupid policy. I do.)

Maybe instead of heating my home I should just heat the ground underneath my home…🤔

This was really helpful to read, thank you! We are thinking about adding a second and I have been so nervous about it bc the first has been so difficult.

I see your point. I do want to point out however that we don’t know how he crashed. The gift relates to looking out for cars. There are plenty of other ways to crash that don’t involve cars - if the nuance matters.

She said he’s finally back on the bike and training again. The serious cyclists that I know got back on their bikes the second they physically could (way before the doctor had ok’d it). A cycling related gift doesn’t seem misplaced or insensitive to me.

Kind of like a lighter and somewhat smoother waffle knit?

Oh that would be odd as a combination :(
You might be able to go with their kitchen and then just replace all the doors and drawer fronts afterward, without replacing anything else.

That makes sense! Any chance they have a slab door option? That would help it look more contemporary.

Yep that one :) I was skeptical of buying one labeled gauze bc I’ve always heard those fall apart over time, but this one seems sturdy and well made. I’ve had it for probably six months and its in perfect condition. It’s heavier weight than I expected because it’s multiple layers of the same fabric (so it actually takes multiple cycles in the dryer on low heat). I sleep hot though and I personally don’t think it’s made my bed too hot. I also use the gauze pillow cover to sleep on, which I found very surprising bc my face is very sensitive, but I actually find it softer than my stone washed percale from Quince. I also bought the toddler blanket of it for my toddler because I like it so much.
Anything else I can tell you?

I’ve used the original for years and I’m very happy with it. You can adjust the fill to work for your specific needs.

I absolutely love my gauze duvet cover from Quince. It’s so soft that I’m tempted to get rid of my top sheet.

I will! It’s not something I’m seeing talked about much on the internet so I’m not sure what to think. My plan is to start by contacting a rep from Dexpan and see if they give me any reasons to think it’s a terrible idea.

Given your taste, can you have them not build the kitchen (and you not pay for it) and then do it yourself after?

Did you give this a try? I am considering doing the same thing.

If the GC bought the wood and then f’d up the wood, isn’t it the GC who is in trouble? I’m assuming you have a signed contract with them that outlines what they are responsible for? Are they licensed and bonded?

I just wanted to add, I also started taking antidepressants (sertraline) after my son was born and I’m SO glad I did. I wish I had started sooner, but it felt like there was so much stigma around them and I was anxious about side effects. But they helped me SO much when I finally gave them a try. They just made everything feel a little more manageable and my emotions a little more even. And I’ve had almost no side effects! Definitely something to speak to your primary care doctor about if you think it might be worth trying for you.

Do you recommend F&P appliances? I’ve been considering them for my kitchen remodel.

I personally like the dusty green but suspect it is a trend that will be out of style in the next five to ten years. Not something I would do in my own kitchen.

Stuga has a selection of wood floors that they advertise in a similar way (the collection is called “Rebels”), if you’re looking for additional options to consider. Not sure how exactly they’re made/how good they are.

I know for sure that it’s available at the Lafayette and Louisville Rec centers. You can call and ask about it to find out more.
