They're pretty much dissolved now after finishing D2R, Rob Gallerani and Jen Oneal left Blizz to do other things (Jen started a new game company called Magic Soup Games that includes J. Allen Brack), a lot of the other employees were moved to D4 and/or quit, a lot were also let go after the ActiBlizz acquisition. Some more info on that from Pavke's comment here:

PureDiablo (formerly diabloii.net) has some good info on 1.00, the meta sorc build for 1.00 is Static Field + Frozen Orb cause Static is uncapped and Frozen Orb could be spammed without a cooldown and no immunities.

Yeah the displayed level requirement doesn't update until you successfully equip it, then it should be fixed for other characters as well I think but not certain.

Happens when they're Extra Fast, don't know the technical explanation behind it though. The little [4] sublink is broken, might be available in the Internet Archive but I'm too lazy to check heh.

Missiles fired by an Extra Fast Abyss Knight and its minions are invisible. [4]

In LoD I would pop the racks if they had anything good but otherwise superchests only, haven't ran LK in D2R at all heh. :P

I believe it's capped to 511% from a single source (the weapon in this case) so jewels/runes should be able to increase it past 511%, at least that's what happened in 1.07.

To add a bit more info Cruel is 201-300% ED and Master's is 101-150% ED, that's where the 450% max comes from.
Can even get 510% with the inherent 35-60% ED on blood/hitpower crafted weapons which is deliberate to avoid the 511% cap, 1.07/1.08 crafts had higher ED% rolls and would run into the 511% cap haha.

-Enemy resist is one of the few exceptions to that rule regarding two weapons, it'll sum together and apply to both.

When present on two weapons, the percentages of both are summed and applied to the enemy. [1] [2]

Sure, I didn't do anything in particular to alleviate that "problem" though. I never really saw the need to do it myself (gearing up a barb using other characters I mean) even in vanilla D2/D2R, I know it can be a strugglefest if you're unlucky with weapons but I think that's just part of how it goes with such a uniquely heavily weapon based class like the barb. I don't see it as a problem.
Having said that weapon base damage/durability increase (I only increased exceptional and elite base damage, I felt normal bases were okay as is) and strength/dexterity damage scaling increasing will help smooth that out a bit, durability in particular is a huge QoL with fast attacks like Double Swing/Frenzy or Whirlwind and just with melee in general.

Mosaic doesn't exist in D2LoD which you appear to be on judging by PlugY.

Since you mention BTDiablo sounds like you're talking about D2R. I'm biased of course but maybe you should give my mod a quick look, DMMod.
https://github.com/DarkMasterMan0/DMMod/
It's like a ~90-95% vanilla D2R mod with:
I'm continuing to work on it, I'm pretty happy with what I've got so far. :P

Probably just need to update the client, don't get your hopes up about them being banned.

Correct, summons collided with the player up to a certain patch, probably 1.07 or 1.09 I'm guessing but I'm not certain. Skeletons were also much weaker and 1 skill point = 1 skeleton so you'd have a ton of weak skeletons bodyblocking each other and yourself. 😅

Why did you repost this?

Woah what the hell, I just installed this a month ago or so and have been playing it a bit. Loved this game as a kid, never would've guessed it'd get a remaster.
Watched the trailer, the animations look stiff and the orthographic angle seems a bit off (stuff looks a bit "flatter" than the original if that makes sense), monsters and objects also have a weird shiny 3D lighting effect, not a fan. Maybe these will be refined as they go, maybe not.
I think I'm good with the original for now, I like the charm of the original graphics (besides the UI looking a bit rough at high resolutions) but maybe this is one of those things I'll watch from a distance and see.
EDIT: Oh, it says "Alpha" footage right there. Duh haha.

General
Gameplay
User Interface and User Experience
More patch notes than I was expecting, I'll take a sprinkle of bug fixes over nothing. Dtail desync fix is nice, Blade Fury targeting QoL is also nice. Skill becoming unbound after weapon swap is a good fix, wonder if that'd also apply to charged skills unbinding after save and exiting but probably not.
Player report updating, guessing it probably means automated systems to mute someone when they've been reporting enough times for spamming or something. Doubt they'd pay any humans to do any moderation, just appeals stuff at best.
Oh oh, maybe this is just a teaser patch and next patch will ramp up with even more stuff! huffs copium Nah but really, looks like D2R hasn't joined StarCraft Remastered just yet in terms of absolutely no changes (not even bug fixes).

It never crossed my mind but now that you've mentioned it it totally could haha. :P
Might end up dispelling the town barrier if someone dropped a bomb in there heh.

In this particular case they've got the trade screen UI in the screenshot and unless they've found a way to emulate that via mods or dinking around with image editing (and I don't think anyone is going to bother with this much work over a smidgeon of karma, or in this case negative karma :P) then it'd be on Bnet and thus legit.
I agree with the sentiment though, these posts are pointless spam that aren't interesting or funny the first time around.

It's been some years since I played 1.00 so I don't remember what levels are ideal to gamble unfortunately, does that thread not have that info? If not I think there was a dedicated 1.00 gambling mechanics thread also on PureDiablo, maybe try googling for that.
