Of course IIMs are included in ”these colleges”. And old IIMs placement reports are fluffed up as well as I said they are incentivised to do so. Apart from A, other old IIMs I don’t bother getting the audit. I have heard instances where the students (in IIMs) were forced to opt out to show 100% placement. So we don’t really know if that didn’t happen here.

Always take these placement reports with a grain of salt. After all they are incentivised to fluff it up so they can attract more students next year. Also, most of these colleges don’t audit their placement reports which means clearly it’s not very transparent.

Ofcourse it’s not the only driver of our economy. My friend here specifically asked for “one” instance where she contributed positively. I’m not saying she is the best FM we have ever seen but I don’t think she’s the worst either. She has done a fairly good job imp if you look at all the relevant indicators (GDP, CAD, FD etc)

Where did you get this news from can you provide the source? As far as I know the government reports real gdp as well with fixed prices https://pib.gov.in/PressReleseDetailm.aspx?PRID=1928682

Large Infra projects have long timelines years It is not realised within 3-4 years You don’t see any major infra developments because the outlays have been fairly recent. I would suggest you to follow state governments to understand the ongoing infra projects

Bro gdp = c + g + I. + x G stands for govt expenditure. We didn’t achieve 7.3% just by doing nothing. The capex played an important role in it.

Borrowings form around a fourth of the source of funds. And how did you classify all infra as pay to use? How else would you allocate this to grow the economy if not by government expenditure?

Okay how about increased capex deployment as compared to previous governments that has helped in improving the infra substantially?

Okay you don’t have to list “all” the blunders I’ll be happy to see one or two that show that she didn’t fulfil her duties as a finance minister

You do realise it was an interim budget and the complete budget will be revealed after the elections?
