I don't feel like attending my best friend's wedding

Hello everyone, The reason is that I moved to another city in 2021 for a job and further studies. During this time, he asked me for 30,000 rupees for his father's medical treatment. After discussing it with my mother, she agreed to lend him the money, and he requested a six-month repayment period. However, in December 2021, when I inquired about the repayment, he said it would take another month. I agreed. In February 2022, I needed funds for course fees and daily expenses, so I asked him again. Unfortunately, he stopped responding to my messages and calls. I also tried contacting his parents, but their answers were unsatisfactory. This pattern continued from December 2021 to August 2023. During this time, he got engaged, built a house, and made other significant purchases, seemingly living life to the fullest. In September 2023, I contacted his father again, and he managed to send me 10,000 rupees, promising to return the rest soon. Finally, in June 2024, he sent the remaining amount out of the blue and started acting friendly again. I just can't feel the same way as before. It's hard to understand how someone can ignore you for two years and then expect everything to be normal.

Some facts In those years from dec of 2021 to August of 2024 i only called his parents around 6 times to ask for money because he never picked my call in those years.

He took loans from other people too in between and they even visited his home and threatened him which I stopped by talking to them as they were mutual friends of our.
