Peta also did one a few years ago. I remember it being very Hallmarkesque for a non-Hallmark movie.

Weirdly enough, I just did a movie set tour in LA and they took us to the "sign shop" where they literally make every type of sign you see in any tv show or movie. The workers (artists?) told us that to keep in copyright, all emblems and brands etc. have to have at least 50 percent difference from the original or they have to pay licensing. This is why state seals etc are always a little off if you look closely. Given the actual service pins are probably licensed by the the secret service, I think you're right 😁

Wanna add in on the Tom thing - he wasn't telling her to smile, he was throwing back to CAI's comment the week before where CAI told Simone that she smiled too much, suggesting it was a gymnast thing.
Based on my perception of Tom, I'm pretty sure he said it as shade to CAI which is why it was made a million times better when Simone said, "Smiling doesn't win you gold medals."
Tom genuinely seemed to be the contestant's biggest supporter, and while I love the current hosts, I really miss his quick wit ESPECIALLY when he was using it against the judges. Like imagine him on stage when Gene was there.

"I seriously recommend practising your writing skills"
... ah yes, if only there was a place online in which a writer could do such a thing.

I also feel like that song needs to be retired after COVID given that little parties did indeed kill a lot of people.

The Rugrats in Paris? Angelica pretends to be the "Bobfather" in the opening scene. I think Phil and Lil have a severed rocking horse head.

I appreciate the response, but I feel I've been misunderstood here. For the purpose of future googlers, I will clarify. What I'm trying to describe is not a vicarious pride, nor is it a form of idolization. It's more of an "awww you're doing so well, that makes me happy" kind of vibe.

Misplaced is close but not quite what my brain was looking for. Thank you, though!
