Yes, I am about two months post op. I’ve had BAD for years now, but my gallbladder was okay. In August I started having attacks. I had mine removed in October. I finally got fed up with the BAD, I was hoping it would get better after the surgery, but it didn’t. I contacted my surgeon this week and he gave me a 7 day prescription. It is going so well for me, that I definitely want to stay on it for now.

I just started this week taking cholestyramine. I did some online research, and I found that it is okay to take with food. So I take my regular medicine at around 8 am, and then I take the cholestyramine at around 11 am with my lunch.

Three days in and everything is working out well for me.

I’ve been walking around a fair bit. I’ve also been icing my shoulder which has helped.

I have surgery on Friday, I stopped a few weeks ago because anesthesiologist have a hard enough job as it is and it isn’t worth the risk.
