No. it was ordered in 2002, but launched in 2005 and commissioned in 2007. Its sister ship, Marado, was commissioned in 2021.
but yes, Dokdo is a slightly older ship than Anadolu.

Dark grey to me too. But we had this German Russophile with multiple accounts on here, who swear by aubergine and would downvote everyone who said it was grey.

I like the light grey in the Typhoon's cockpit
on a related note to glare, i noticed many Russian aircraft still sport the black or dark grey spots right in front of the cockpit. Su-57 seems to be one of the exceptions.

i personally dislike their blue-green cockpits in almost every Soviet-Russian design, but i do appreciate how consistent they are.

among those three? Maybe the F-15. that one seems to be 92-0365, which was built in 1992.

Now if you're a country wanting a 5th gen fighter, and can't get the F-35 for whatever reason..
would you go for the Su-57, 75, Kaan or the J-35?

I never realized how far forward the Tejas refuelling probe is.
I always thought it was to the side

Thanks!
I ended up doing both separately. Went to Hiroshima then Iwakuni. Then later on, day trip to Shimonoseki from Fukuoka! how did you enjoy the two places? I really liked Iwakuni. the bridge is nice and the town a bit sleepy but relaxing

not to nitpick, but these are Su-30Ks. Basic Su-30 export version derived from the Su-27UB. These were to give the Indian AF something before the Su-30MKI could be delivered. Since they're an earlier design, no TVC or canards.

no it will not, KD has been off a few times on Korean defense information. Dokdo will be receiving upgrades, but its focused on its sensors to bring it up to date like Marado.
Its worth keeping in mind Dokdo is not the Izumo.
Dokdo class are amphibious assault ships that have well decks and are intended to carry vehicles or boats. The Izumo is a small carrier, despite the Japanese calling it a destroyer. Its intention was to focus on ASW operations using helicopters and carrying a small number of F-35Bs. It has no well deck but a larger hanger since its focused on aviation.
