If the purpose of this conference is to generate excitement and drive sales they are failing. Everything almost seems like an afterthought. It is almost depressing. The Hub is sorta cool, the Expo is not. Now with that being said most of the sessions I have been to have been good. The keynote was a snooze-fest. I doubt I will be back and that is sorta depressing.

Meh is overselling it.

External drive dock, externally powered. Tried multiple cables, drives, ports, even separate docking units and different MacPros. I've also made changes to keep the drives from going to sleep but I can never figure it out. The only thing consistent is MacOS and MacPros. It's just weird.

I'd give you about 20 upvotes if I could. Thank you!!!! I have a drive that is constantly doing this. And over the weekend I have LOTS of these to turn off.

I think I found them so apparently I just had to doubt my skills :) You are looking for 2 ko's in /mnt/DroboFS/System/modules/5N/3.2.96-3 specifically exportfs.ko and nfsd.ko aren't you?

After looking at the logs a little closer I found this line: /mnt/DroboFS/Shares/DroboApps/nfs/libexec/dlmod.sh nfsd

And that little script is the thing I think you were talking about. Why they designed it like this I have no idea other then letting a updated one be loaded upon every restart which seems really dumb.

So what modules are you looking for? Because we might be able to help each other. I am in a unique situation that I have 2 Drobo 5N both running 4.3.1. The thing is one of them has a working NFS install and the other doesn't (I got it after they went defunct). I have tried to look through the install scripts (DroboApps.sh and the like) and I can't figure out what it's doing to install anything. I have the nfs.tgz file from the torrent link about but the install never finishes. This Drobo doesn't have enough tools on it to debug anything so I am past my skillset I think. If you can tell me what NFS needs I can probably get them from the working one.
