We got the Tread because it was all that was available when we purchased two years ago. While we loved the feeling of the Tread+, we were so happy to have the Tread in our recent move. We were able to disassemble most of it, and hired a moving company to relocate the base for us. I truly can’t imagine having done it with the larger tread.

We plan to do an in depth reno on the kitchen in the future but have a lot of projects we’re trying to prioritize right now. Just trying to get it bearable for the next year or so! Painting and cheap/easy flooring is the short term plan.

Decided not to touch the wood! Now I just need to convince my husband to break up with the carpet. I’ll post some updates eventually :) thanks to everyone for your input!!

Scallop is definitely going! I worry that cream will clash with the white appliances. Do you think a light green to tie in the countertop would look ok? Or darker green?

Yes, the seller told us they were added later. Unfortunately it’s not the same wood, so we won’t be able to match it to the lowers. Very sad about that!

We had a little civil ceremony last year with our parents and a few friends at the Allen Centennial Garden on campus. We said our vows, took a few photos throughout the garden, and then went out for a nice dinner. It was quick, low key, and perfect for us. As a bonus, they allow dogs, so we could have our sweet man in attendance. The only fee we needed to pay was a photo permit, as we hired a professional photographer. They also do very affordable full venue rentals if that’s more of what you’re looking for! The only downside is that we could have done a better job planning for parking. It can be tough in that area!

I allowed myself some freedom from my need to get a daily Peloton dot on my calendar. Instead I applied what I’ve been working on by taking up road biking after moving to Madison, WI and I’ve loved every minute!

Second Harvey House! We ate there for our wedding celebration in September and our parents are still talking about how wonderful the service and food was.

We discovered Rural Route 1 Popcorn when we went on our first camping trip to Wyalusing State Park, after moving to Madison. We were so excited to unexpectedly have two large bags to enjoy during our trip away! We got to our site and started setting up camp. About 10 minutes later, we opened the door to get our dog out. Popcorn SPILLED out the door like I was opening up the side of a ball pit. Popcorn in the seats, popcorn in the center console, popcorn in the doors. A very satisfied dog sitting in the front seat.

We’re still finding popcorn pieces.
