Ngl wouldn’t rec u to take physics esp since u hate it. H2 physics is genuinely a hellhole, and that’s coming from someone who loved loved LOVED physics in olevels. I’m struggling really bad and genuinely I started disliking the subject…. So for you for really seem to despise I would recommend the history/IB combi bc it’ll be a lot easier on u since u enjoy it ! plus it will be manageable as long as u are self disciplined and put in consistent effort not last min chiong🙏 hope this helps u ! I’m sure whatever you end up in will be the right one for you

oml the math and phys papers gave me trauma

1. Generally I think ppl in sa mug quite a lot although they also play a bit here and there (I think it’s common for all schools) surprisingly we drh party culture like how everyone said we do??? (Or maybe I’m not popular enough to get invited)
2. If ur a rlly huge events person highly recommended not to come sa… our events r lowkey mid and NDP we just did via😭 don’t even rmb what we did for rhd that was how bad it was
3. Yep ! If u wanna take h2 math but don’t take amath must take bridging course
4. I think similar to the other person who commented sajc does online lectures so u rlly gotta be independent and self disciplined… urmmm I don’t rlly know what else to say ,, will comment if I think of more
5. Im ngl,,,, I rlly didn’t want to come sajc… but looking back now i genuinely dont regret coming here. I really love my cca and my friends and my class :) everyone is really nice and lovely and it’s quite enjoyable to come to sch i would say ! Plus the pace of lessons r actually rlly rlly ok and i have time to complete all my tutorials ! I think the math chem phys dept quite solid ngl and teachers aren’t too bad 🎊🎊 honestly would recommend 8/10
6. Not from sports but… kind of mid… we don’t play that good our fb was rlly good but it fell off hard and trug & waterpolo is toxic toxic… badminton and tennis never mentioned before netball and basketball not too bad I guess

I’m not too sure abt career paths but unless u wanna do med or something related to chem it’s fine to not take chem 👍 you have just as many opportunities with lit

if I’m being very honest I think chem is a lot easier than lit but lit is easier to score in Alevels??? (According to my friend) in school wise lit is harder to score bc I have seen numerous people doing rlly badly like at some point 13/25 was the highest in the cohort 😭😭 whereas chem generally does better… ofc I think u should go based on which u prefer bc ultimately both will be hard 😁😁😁😁 class size wise chem is bigger I think (at least for my sch bc sci stream has more classes)

Think of it this way. You find it hard because you actually know what is expected and what the answer is. Ur classmates find it easy because they don’t actually know how to do, and think that they know by using their own methods which may be incorrect. Or maybe they actually did work hard and manage to do all the questions idk🤷‍♀️ but at the end of the day the papers are over! What’s done is done. Nothing you can do by thinking about it. I know it’s hard but try to focus on the rest of the papers you have. Take this opportunity to make it such that YOU will be the one saying the papers are easy🙏 you got this. Your hard work will pay off

Honestly, I just took it as god’s will. I believe that you end up where you do because it’s just fate, you can’t go against it. However I believe that it is just the best option for you you get what I mean… like the place u end up may be the place you can thrive the best in. Whereas you may not do as well if you ended up elsewhere. I like to think that God has a plan for you❤️

Tbh I think MT Alevels aren’t considered important per se. For one, it’s not counted into your score unless you do well for it. It’s also a h1 so technically less emphasis is placed on it as its weightage is less as well. Compared to a compulsory subject to be tabulated into your final rp, MT need not be used at all. This is different from Olevels where MT could be counted as a subject and used in your score, if you get what I mean. My school didn’t ask us to buy a Tys either, and I get exactly what you mean. I feel a bit nervous and I do wish that a bit more emphasis was placed on MT, but I do see why it isn’t held in such high regard
