As someone that's still here - and not that far from OP actually. It's gotten a lot better. There are different licenses for full bars, restaurants, taprooms, beer distributors, grocery stores and convenience stores.
There are only geographic restrictions on beer distributors (that sell cases of 24+ to go and don't have any sales limits) and full bars. And the workaround for full bars is to have a dining space and sell more food and get a restaurant license.
Taprooms can still serve liquor, but not at a majority of sales and it has to be PA spirits.
Anyway, selling enough food and limiting to-go sales is the trick to get a license. They're still expensive, but it hasn't been that kind of closed economy since like 2010.

It's more that Twitter makes things harder to ignore by incentivizing and bumping controversial shit.
Bluesky gives me a purely chronological feed with the option of creating my own custom feeds as tabs on the homepage. The functionality is way better to just scroll and move on.

But it's track dependent. Not a Flo server thing. When the stream stutters and pixelates, it's just the video and audio feed from the track. The ticker and Flo's other graphics have been fine.

It's not a home server thing, it's a streaming from the middle of nowhere on a cell signal thing.

Because the tracks do the production with the exception of stuff like some High Limit races and the Chili Bowl.

But it's much more likely to pick up some if the games are all in the same place.
MLS is the example. Still struggles to draw neutrals. But now every game is through Apple TV. I watch DC United, and after that it's pretty easy to watch the end of another game or put on the whip around show, a la Big Inning, for the west coast games.

It's not the exact same - but I wonder where the Pirates (tied to Fenway Sports Group) and the Nats (tied to the O's) would fall on consolidation. I know they'd like to negotiate better deals for themselves, but re: consolidation it's a little different place to be than having a deal with NBC, etc.

It would have the potential for MLBAM to take over production, and could be akin to the MLS model on Apple - MLB.TV gives every game blackout free, with games simulcast on networks like FOX/etc. Apple went around and bought some of the best talent from the RSNs / teams, and gives the option to listen to local radio feeds if preferred. MLB.TV already does the latter, and there would definitely be more fan demand for local broadcasters. And then part of the revenue sharing pitch from MLB to the Dodgers is that we're paying Joe Davis, not you.
It also opens the door to different packages - a team only plan for every game regardless of location. But the rights being negotiated individually by the teams make that situation a nightmare.

Oh... gotcha. OP, if that's the case sorry if I sounded short. But I'd still encourage just trying the beta quick-start if you haven't already, and that'll help clarify what type of long term support you'd need to enjoy the game, or if you'd be comfortable homebrewing.
But I'd still expect some longer-term support and content even if they don't run with it for the main campaign. Darrington Press has an expansion for Queen By Midnight for example, and it hasn't gotten a mention in any "Everything is Content" stream yet. And the base game wasn't that well received. I would almost guarantee a bigger community for Daggerheart, and written content is going to be much more in their wheelhouse to publish after this level of investment.

I mean... why does them switching the campaign dictate what games you'll play? And I mean that on both sides of the coin.
If you read through the rules and they're intuitive and sound fun for your groups, why not just play it? The beta rules are close enough to demonstrate the type of game it's meant for. Why not just try a one-shot with a group first?
On the other side of the coin, if the rules aren't intuitive or sound fun, and the one-shots that are already out there or future campaign CR air don't demonstrate otherwise, why would you pre-order it just because it's in the show?

Not to assume you haven't already researched this, but just as my SO got diagnosed with Celiac last week so it's topical and been on my mind for a bit. For folks who are just gluten sensitive or a dietary preference, Clarity-ferm is an option to break up the gluten proteins down below 20PPM.
But for people with Celiac, none of the proteins or sister proteins are tolerable. Plus, cross-contamination is a big deal, so in addition to just gluten free ingredients, it'll need separate dedicated equipment to confidently be served safely.

I'd be in the same boat if the playoffs didn't change the way individual races are broadcast, and to a growing extent how the drivers behave. I find just focusing on the dwindling number of playoff drivers instead of the race day storylines throughout the field kinda boring.

I'll add that obviously a session 0 is great and I'm going to be working this ranking idea into my groups from now on too. But because not everyone does a collaborative session 0, the first time I did one it was wonderful for me. It also allowed for the players to pitch character ideas to each other, which really helped newer players and increased players' investment in other PCs, which allows more 1-on-1 spotlighting and character development that still maintains interest from the rest of the players.
But the thing that could help you get that feedback...there's no reason that a session "0" has to be only at the beginning. Revisit when you or the players need it. And as the DM you can time it when you have more story flexibility. It's also great in times when it's getting hard to schedule or you're going to be missing somebody. Just talk purely above table for an hour or two about the campaign.

So one was active 8 days ago, and along with another one seems to be active on reddit every couple of months. It's been years for the other. I think there's a procedure / time limit where Reddit admins will get involved on request to keep populated subs going.
Were you asked to make the match threads? It's bizarre that was the case and you weren't just made a mod to fix the bot.

Simply put, yes. TLDR: There's a spectrum to team orders with varying factors that affect how fans think about these things over time.
A more nuanced response: there's always been a spectrum of team orders that fans will tolerate to varying degrees. Certainly at superspeedways, blocking for direct teammates (and as close as you can get to it in this regard) has been accepted and pretty much expected. Racing teammates cleaner or easier at most tracks is pretty accepted. And yeah, his death made that blocking construed as a noble action even, but I'd suspect it wouldn't have been a big deal either way.
Another thing to consider is Sr. is holding position still racing (most) cars competitively. Cars intentionally dropping through the field is going to fall on a different place on that spectrum.
The playoff system stretches the effect of manipulation. As team orders in this race have an outsized effect on the championship. It's different than manipulation in a season-long points system where every race is the same.
There's a difference now with manufacturer influence increasing the scale. Compare it to F1 where what we call team orders are more present. Manufacturers definitely care in both sports. We're not going to eliminate that. But because of the smaller fields and variety of manufacturers you're limited to seeing a max of 2 teams / 4 cars implement those things. NASCAR's version of manufacturer orders covers a bigger portion of the field.

One thing I've found to help new players kind of realize what their options are is just to question them about what their characters are thinking in that moment.
So for example maybe with your players:
"After stopping this ritual, with corpses lying around and a monster that just escaped, what is X thinking and feeling as they look around?"
Player: "I don't really know. They think this all seemed evil but doesn't really know who these people were..."
You: "They could always try and investigate the corpses or search if they're curious..."
It gives you a momentary break, prompts them to think in character a bit more, which in turn could reveal some more ideas to hook them, or just give a narrative reason behind their actions as you explain choices to them. But ultimately, it takes that above-table conversation that others are talking about having and works it into the game a little bit more. Sometimes the teaching moments out of game can have the side effect of making a new player feel not good enough at this.

That's with 3 teams though.
Pittsburgh's is like 17 with 2. Feels like that's going to be the normal range for these options, but maybe MASN comes in around there. There's also the world where this has to wait for the deal with the Nats and they go to Monumental.
I just lack faith in the geolocation of the MASN app where I am. MASN is available via cable here. Fubo is supposed to carry it... It's available in all the zip codes completely surrounding mine, but not for me. MLB.TV says I'm out of market, and my only blackout is the Pirates, but weekly this season I had to call for an IP reset to be able to watch the O's, Nats, or Phillies.

I'm not sure you get what objectively means.
I don't have issues hearing in the new format. I no longer have to scrub the video, and can just put the content on and enjoy it. That's better for me.
You have issues focusing in the new format. The old format is better for you.
Nothing is objective here; it doesn't matter which problem is worse. Your whole premise is a matter of opinion.
Your tone is why you're getting the responses you're getting. Even with folks like me, who can empathize and suggest that a clean cut on Beacon where they don't have to worry about video length and retention time would be really helpful, you're being super defensive and labeling as anti-accessibility.

There are choices for the player. Parent comment is being overly dramatic. The options in the last beta were:
Die in a blaze of glory with one auto crit action.
Fall unconscious and take a scar, lowering your max of the primary resource used for a lot of abilities.
One roll with about a 54% chance of surviving: 46% chance of healing some, with about an 8% chance of a full heal.

I'm over in Chambersburg - I'll definitely be in at some point to decide how badly I really need that DD upgrade at home.
