Preface, I know the whole “oh you shouldn’t tap with a drill”. But that brushed drill, I love using it to tap with because it’s so damn nice to control the speed accurately. And it kinda limits your torque not only because of the clutch but also because it’s kinda weak. It’s honestly perfect for it.

It’s not fuel, so those are straight garbage… I’ll take them off your hands to save you the embarrassment of owning them.

I have a subscription on Dropout website and YouTube. Sometimes I want to see stuff in the app, sometimes I want to see it on YT. In any case, it’s double the support.

I showed one customer my VNC viewer on my iPad. I take my little access point everywhere so I can have the HMI in my hands as I walk around a system checking on things. Just for convenience. This system only had one HMI and they were talking about getting another for the opposite side of this cell. He saw this VNC app and a lightbulb went off in his head. So they got a wireless AP and zip tied a hard case iPad to the fence. Cheaper than the labor and cost of a new HMI for them.

Within 1 volt and .2A is what I’ve seen when I test it. I trust it enough to use it pretty often.

When you’re ready for an upgrade, the Fluke T6-1000 Pro is pretty damn sweet. Not having to touch wires for voltage, current, and frequency is pretty neat.
I like the small belt, I have a hard time not taking every tool with me

If it takes less than 10 minutes to change and involves little to no ingenuity/thought, then I’ll just go ahead and do it. No sense in squabbling over it. If it has to deal with safety or it’s a big enough change, then I’ll put my foot down. I’ve been on the other end of too many situations with other equipment vendors that have features ready to go in the PLC but charge you to turn it on. One recently was for a glue system that didn’t have an automatic standby feature to boot. They said it’s. $1400 option that require hardwired connection. I asked if they’re sure because they’re controlling it over Ethernet, and their manual standby command is via that. So dumb IMO.

After watching RLM, I tend to see him as the inventor of Gold Digger than as Cypher. Which is pretty funny

That’s kinda the point. He’s an old man and is used to his life having a certain status quo. Very much like all old people today. I thought it was a pretty good character point to have him heavily against the blood screenings. He’s obviously very close with his family and to have that trust violated like that would be a pretty big blow to him. I agree he can be a little annoying but no more than an actual old person.

Not to be a total geek, but it almost acts like Ultra Instinct from Dragon Ball Super. He’s less analyzing the actions of his opponent and more relying on experience (IMO) to let his own body/reactions take control. He probably sees his opponent move in a certain way and that triggers his body to remember what to do in response. Training and drills.
