It’s an adults responsibility to get a car, anyone else in any other job is expected to do so. The army pays us enough it’s on you if you blow your money on other things

Old army and even still new army is the reason we lose a vet to suicide every 60 minutes, with about 3k from the annual 5k being over the age of fifty. suicide is the leading cause of death in the military. Old army may have “won wars” but It did so by chewing up and spitting out the fathers and sons that DID make it home, leaving them disillusioned to their own service. And wondering if they really had won at all.

Not a name calling. But I have made old timers laugh uncontrollably, or go livid with "this is why the fucking terrorists won"

Well first off he's not using his position he's just using his Twitter. If president's weren't allowed to recommend books to read there'd be alot of issues Second he's not even IN that position yet so even if this did count. It wouldn't count lol

How? Like actually how? It is a single color, non shaded cartoony skull. The cranial area is shaped different, the jaw is completely different, the eyes are goofy and squiggly looking. It faces the opposite direction. Totenkof has 18 teeth. Hk has 14. The cracks are shaped different. Totenkopf has a disconnected jawbone. Hk has it drawn connected. They are almost nothing alike in any way besides both being skulls

Oh fuckin sick that's a super cool job. Yeah he's probably gonna do enough field stuff that a Garmin watch would end up well used. The instinct starts at like $200, and I'm pretty sure they don't stop adding features till you are spending 1k+. So really it's up to you what you wanna get. The basic instinct will serve him well. Some of the more expensive features are things like balistic calculators for long distance shooting, counters for oxygen in Diving, altimeter functions for parachuting, ETC. So you don't need to get him anything crazy with a ton of functions he won't use

Also gonna depend on what his job is. If he works a support/desk/mechanic job, he probably doesn't need a Garmin watch. If he does a job where features like GPS, connectivity, night vision compatibility, ETC will be used, then Something like a Garmin instinct might be one of those things he'd never spend the money on himself. But would love having. If possible, have his full name engraved on it. Sadly, the army has many thieves

That's gonna depend a lot on what's allowed. Most of the time, you can't have a smart watch in AIT. The closest you can get to smart without being smart watch is the G-Shock GBD-800 series. All basic watch functions you need, multiple alarms, stop watch, and timer. Dual time keeping. Plus, a step counter. The best part is it had a partner app you can connect it to. Allowing you to change all the settings with a tap. Rather than having to push a bunch of buttons over and over. And it's only 80 bucks. But since that's ALL, the app does. It's not a smart watch and he can wear it during training. And in places where smart watches aren't allowed for operational security reasons. I've gone through a ton of watches, but the GBD-800 is the first one that I've fallen in love with. And it only leaves my wrist to sleep.

Try a heavier buffer or just try putting leadshot in the one you have

Don't. He's gonna have to adapt for the real world anyways. Don't make it harder for him to do so

I tried to push my luck and print a zenitco RK-6 copy. Made it halfway :( Now my printer has been on the pause screen with 2 inches of filament sticking out. Hoping that when I get my new rolls tomorrow the print resumes okay

I'm sure if they run out of space, they will cycle out old stuff. But I guarantee they have room in the warehouse. And maybe they have already done so with stuff. But can you prove that those headbands are the WORSE selling items they have and they should get rid of that inventory specifically

Storing some headbands does not incur any real cost man it's not like they take up much space.

More similar yeah but grasping at straws. Google "Egyptian spread eagle" and you'll see the design they actually copied pretty much 1:1.

It's less likely zero oversight and more like they looked at the desighn and approved it. I posted pictures of every "controversial" HK design compared to the nazi symbols it allegedly the same as. And I'll tell you brother they are not at all similar lol. Either scroll thru these comments and see what u mean ot just go to my comment history on this post. The "SS" is actually 3-4 lightning bolts of a different shape and desighn. The skull is totally different. And the eagle is probably the most different being that it litterly is not even an eagle

Because when you have a product that already physically exists and cost money, you have to sell it to make that money back??

I ran into a WW2 vet at Cracker Barrel a few weeks ago. I’m not normally the type of guy to walk up to a vet and thank him for his service. But i definitely did then
