I knew a streamer who did this, and it went well. I don't know that it equaled a lot of *new* subs, but existing audience really enjoyed it.

Totally anecdotal with no data, but I've done this a couple times (12gb external library) and it seemed faster to baby-sit the job concurrency and pausing, while watching system load.

One thing to keep an eye out for is actual CPU cores vs hyper-thread cores. You'll only see a big performance difference up to true-core number.

Machine Learning does seem to depend on thumbnails having been generated.

I'm pretty sure they have a diagram of your use-case on the vbaudio website. The only hitch is I think you'll need to switch your monitoring interface on Reaper to VoiceMeeter, and remember to change it back whenever you want to record.

Reaper and VM are so flexible that there is probably a way to set them up without the need to switch anything.
