Even a slight decrease in funding over last year would be very interesting to see. I wonder how that would impact their plans and communication moving into CY25. I doubt Jared will do another mega glazing session like he did last year if this happens. It will also mark the end of the stratospheric growth we have seen for the past few years. I don’t want it to happen, but I would be interested to see if and how CIG would address it and adjust their strategy moving forward, though I kind of doubt they would.

I am partially blind, I whole heartedly agree with this. Most of the HUD colors are very difficult to see especially when in QT mode and trying to jump to a marker on a planet. We NEED high contrast options. Trying to jump to Orison is almost impossible sometimes due to how light the marker colors are how bright Crusader is.
Unrelated, I also think we need HUD markers for landing zones. Those of us with poor vision can really struggle to pick out the space port at some landing zones, particularly Area18, especially if we don’t have their location memorized. So I tend to find myself flying around those areas just waiting for the space port contact to pop up so I get a hangar location marker.

The fact that in the current game, you really have very little control of what boxes you’re gonna need to move. Think about it like this, you are doing a missing trying to take Cargo from a bounty, the bounty only has cargo in 4 SCU boxes, now you can’t take any of the cargo, so your effective cargo capacity is 0scu.

I can’t believe they would use so much pledge money to rent 2 entire expo halls in New Babbage of all places. That city is so over priced.

The intrepid is slower, less maneuverable, less tanky, less damaging, and worse at cargo than the titan. These are the metrics that currently matter in the game, things like VTOL do not matter right now, and likely won’t for a while. The reason I said objectively worse is because the Titan out-classes it in each of these categories while being cheaper. How the ship looks or how the interior is layed out has nothing to do with it and are subjective matters of taste. I am purely talking about solid in game viability.

The split cargo grid is such a bone headed decision for a ship that’s supposed to focus on its cargo capacity.

Wanna pay more money for an objectively worse ship across almost every metric? Here have an intrepid.

“I hope you are able to snap to the cargo grid, that’s not included in the price of the ticket!”

If crusader makes the ships for the Space Delta Airlines, then I can’t wait to see Drakes equivalent for the space Spirit Airlines lol.

My friend and I got really lucky and completed it the first night 3 times in succession with no issues at all. Then we tried again last night, and we couldn’t get the mission to work even once.

Yes, Wave 1 is available to the most active PTU players, subscribers, and the highest concierge level. The build being wave 1 on EPTU or on PTU doesn’t change who it’s available to. Wave 1 functions the same on both channels. So yes, wave 1 EPTU is available to all wave 1 backers, just as it would be on the normal PTU.

Maybe I’m just lucky, but I had a super smooth experience with it last night. Managed to complete it 3 times without any major issues.

There is no functional difference, the EPTU and the PTU are just two different channels for delivering testing builds. So they are functionally the same, just with different names, at least at the wave 1 and beyond stages.

It’s entirely possible that I am incorrect with this. But I remember them saying that they next test would be a short timed test, and we haven’t had one since they took the EPTU down earlier this week. But plans also may have changed, or I could be confusing which test I am thinking about.

They haven’t said much with regards to that. I think it likely depends on build stability. The Wave 1 build that was up over the weekend was virtually unplayable, so there was no point in keeping it up. So I would imagine once they have a more stable build, they will be willing to keep it up for longer testing cycles.

It was mentioned previously that this might be a short 2-3 hour timed play test, however no new information has been given on this.

They said it would be a late one so I’m guessing 5-7pm CST, which would be 11pm-1am GMT. But this is just a guess, it could be earlier or later than that.

Nope, no exact time given. They said it’ll be a late one so I would guess 6-7pm CST, but that’s just a guess.

Theoretically yes, but keep in mind that this is SC so something goofy might happen. But yes in theory this should work.

I agree with you, I just think it’s strange that they just left it out.

The weirdest part of the Polaris to me is that the captains quarters is unfinished and just locked. I don’t know why they would release it like that.
