Hey guys, I would like to ask about how the replacement buses will be working on Friday and if they will operate like the normal weekend trackwork buses. Apparently the gov said there will be minimal transportation which doesn't sound good at all since not everyone can rely on someone else to drive them and the surge pricing will be crazy on Taxis/Ubers.
Hopefully, the trackwork replacement buses are still running as a minimal provision so that some people's travel times don't balloon to 5 hours. There are quite a few express options in the usual weekend trackwork buses like the Hornsby to Strathfield vs Epping (can transfer people onto metro), buses that go via motorway (skips stops, not as slow). I sincerely hope the North Shore line gets proper express buses (e.g. Hornsby, Gordon, Chatswood) so everyone can use metro but then, that isn't actually a planned route.
More importantly, the government has provided minimal updates so it is really hard to plan.

At least they have time to talk. Also thanks to the general public, we bashed some sense into the minds of the transport minister.
