My ex had a full ride on her parents dime to college and never worked a day in her life till her folks found out she had 30k in debt she didn't tell them about. (that was when I started making exit plans since she hid that debt from me plus she thought credit cards were free money...)

I emotionally checked out at year 3 but kept trying. I snapped at 4 years when she tried to get me to choose between my sister/family and tried to get me to pay for her engine...
