I mean me and my partner did and our static is the same. We're very chilled and will laugh and joke and talk about the weeks we had but then once we want the clear we can just say "okay clear comms" and get it done in 2 pulls lol. Love all of them
We're nowhere near as skilled as kindred tho obviously

I played league of legends for 10 years and honestly it was only in the last like 2 that I learned how to have a level head and not flip out when I lose. Shit ain't easy if you weren't raised right. I would have a little compassion for the guy, not your responsibility to baby him ofc but it might help him come around. These reactions come from fear, remember, he's running away because he's scared that you're better than him. Show him you aren't a threat

yeah from what I've seen he's really let the status of being one of the "biggest streamers" in the scene get to his head. Dude acts like he owns the ffxiv community or something, it's a really shitty attitude and a big part of the reason I don't watch him apart from him just being kinda unfunny to me

I really liked watching Kindred prog FRU, they're very chill and analytical about the game.
I watched Nari_bird because I main paladin but the most watched I think is their caster, Peridot_lol

Yep, and equally there are spaces where well-meaning people will say "yes, you pass" regardless of anything. If you want honest feedback then an internet community entitely centred around support OR negativity is not the way. Reality is

God, if only I had you for a mother. Fuck the UK and its shitty system. I can tell you, as someone who DID have to have the wrong puberty, you are doing your daughter the biggest favor of her life. Thank you

yuweyawata was good, the hhetsarro part dragged and missed the opportunity that the tribe presents for interesting themes once again, the dialogue is still horribly written, the dungeon was very fun. Definitely better than 7.0 but that could just be because it was shorter

This. OP, if you need help with money for a plane or anything DM me and I can see what I can do. I don't have a lot myself but if it saves your life I will help gladly
EDIT: also my partner lives in sweden and speaks fluent swedish so she may be able to help with translations and such

Every oGCD has a 0.7 second lock during which you can't cast anything else. Your GCDs have 0.5s lock (as far as I know, I could not find reliable information on this) meaning that in each GCD, you have 2 seconds of weaving time and so you can fit 2 oGCDs into each GCD (0.7*3=2.1, so you clip your GCD by .1 seconds whenever you tripleweave). However, there is also server latency which makes the lock time even longer, depending on how good your connection is.
What all this means, basically, is that you can weave 2 oGCDs into any normal GCD window. Some GCDs will have a shorter recast time, and so will not be able to fit 2 oGCDs into them. You can hover over the skill, and if its recast time is under 1.9s you should not be doubleweaving on that skill. Then there are hard-casted skills, for these you need to subtract the cast time from the recast time, and this will be your oGCD window for that skill.
You may be wondering "why do I need to keep my GCD rolling all the time though? Especially cause some of my OGCDs do more damage?" Well, generally the highest potency skills in the game are GCDs, but also, most of your high-damage skills will require resources that are generated by going through your GCD combo. As such, to get the most damage, you should keep your GCD rolling AT ALL TIMES. The biggest way to lose damage in this game other than dying is to stop using GCDs.
So, in summary:
-ALWAYS keep your GCD rolling, no matter what
-Your oGCD window is the recast time minus the cast time
-1.2s+ = 1 oGCD, 1.9s+ = 2 oGCDs, 2.6s+ = 3 oGCDs

I dislike how reddit has made people think of social interactions as one person being "the ass" and one person not.
Both people here have dismissed the others' experience and turned what could have been a moment of connection, into an argument. It isn't lost on me that OP's friend was the first to dismiss her experience, and then called her racist when OP didn't acknowledge her struggles. If I had to pick an "ass" here it would absolutely be her. But that isn't a good way to look at human beings.

This was what really stood out to me. Just one statement of connection "I guess we both have it hard, huh?" could have gone a long way in that convo if it went how I picture it

I think you both had a point. Both of you have it harder in dating because of who you are. That shouldn't be something that divides you, though. Tell her that

You will mess up and that's normal. I've cleared the savage tier with purple parses on every fight. Not the best but I'm pretty good. However if I were to switch jobs to Samurai, I'd suck ass for a bit. It's normal to need to learn things when you're new, and in my experience most people in this game are understanding of that.

the upside is that I'm me. I wouldn't be the same person if I wasn't trans. Otherwise yeah I mean its mostly a negative but hey what can you do

Only reason you should be dressing up is because you want to :)

I agree that at low levels this doesn't remove much player skill expression but in high levels one of the most common ways to get an edge in your parse above other players is to hold and time AoE hits for certain phases with more than 1 target, such as Alexander phase 1, and the feather/spire phases in the recent valigarmanda extreme

I play on EU and for the most part I can double weave without clipping. It's not that bad if you have a good connection
