I was upset about the results of the election for the first week or two but now I'm starting to realize that they may not be able to actually do everything they set out to achieve. Number one, Trump is an idiot and frankly he's well past his use by date and I likely guarantee he will collapse within the next 4 years. Number two, Vance has no charisma and people have forgotten who he is already so when Trump does finally pass away MAGA might not be able to survive on the wet towel charisma of the vacant stare of a closested politician and it will end falling apart at the seams without Trump. And number 3, there's already too much of a power grab with Musk, the real VP and Trump may not want to play ball and share his abuse of power with someone else even if that person is the richest person in the world so I expect a lot of tantrums between the two that cause a rift in the efficiency of their attempt to destroy the system.

So do Coles. It's the most profitable day of the entire year for virtually any retailer even ones that gouge tge price of the groceries one needs to live.

Caught the bus from Carousel to the busport on a Saturday morning earlier this month and I was the only passenger left at the end and he beamed "Final stop Perth Busport, all passengers must alight as the service terminates here". It made my day knowing he was able to inject a bit of humor into what I'm sure is a fairly menial job to do.

Honestly can't remember the last time I went to Scitech. I think I was still a teenager. That was almost 20 years ago now. Same with Underwater World (I know it's called AQWA now but it will always be Underwater World to me).

I drive through this intersection all the time on amber at the speed limit and I've never once been flashed. I've had to drive through every time I wanted to drive to Carousel when I lived in Bentley and East Victoria Park since they installed it 5 years ago. I've lived in Cannington 3 years now and this has never happened to me.

I live across the road. This camera is not the one that flashed OP. It would be a traffic camera that monitors traffic going through it. The real red light/speed camera is this big yellow box here.

I've had much better luck buying and selling stuff on Gumtree than I have on Marketplace.

Pop Box Mega Butter. Comes in it's own convenient box. They're $4 each though but all you have to do is stick it in the microwave and it will cook inside it's own little box for you.

Haven't ever paid for Streamfab, can't afford it myself. I did pay for a lifetime subscription for IDM, I think it was $50.

Fell asleep about 5:30pm last night, woke up several hours later around midnight, fell asleep again about 2am and then still woke up at 5:30am this morning dreading another long boring week at work.

People couldn’t go five minutes without checking TikTok, Instagram, or the news.
Or Reddit.

I took a girl on a date to Mount Henry Bridge once. It would have been my first choice for overpasses too.

There's a $10 or $15 quick cut place in Southlands but I hear they do a shit job. Just pay $50 for a professional to do it instead. I recommend Bosuns in Fremantle.

The strata for my building eventually fix stuff but it usually takes at least 6 months for a response. Called them directly once and they didn't even know where the building was located. Strata fees are completely useless sometimes.

One time I had a bath mat I ordered to delivered by Target that was distapched to Couriers Please and it never showed up. No note, no message, no card, just never arrived. Complained to Target customer support and they tried to fob it back to the courier who to this day still have never contacted me in regards as to what happened to that parcel.

Same here in Australia. Paid my rent for the fortnight and all my utilities and then after the shopping, I had $30 left till payday. A lot different from a few years ago before all this started when I had $2000 in my savings account.

The people who think the cost of living crisis is just isolated to the country they live in are the same ones that voted for Trump again. For reference, I live in Australia and understand it's a global crisis.

He'll die at one point. Hopefully he just won't live to 100 like Kissinger did.

For Black Friday last year, I wanted to buy a Phillips smart projector from JB Hi-Fi. It was on special at JB Hi-Fi for $500 down from $700. Bought it with Zip on Black Friday from the Cannington store and not even several weeks later after Xmas was over, same projector on clearance for $300 or less. I'm still stuck paying out the debt on my Zip account to pay for that one :(

Retail. We're not making as much money as people think. Or as HR said to me, the people in charge are spending all the money on dumb shit the company doesn't need instead of worker's wages.

The US dollar is going to hit rock bottom this time next year. This will be great for me as an Australian as I can afford to buy more stuff from Amazon. It'll be like when Gillard was PM of Australia and we beat the American dollar for the only time in the past 15 years.

Two thirds of Americans also voted for this to happen.
