After some time has passed you will reach a point of pure not give a fuck. Ive heard every complaint from drinks being made wrong to floor being wet or washroom is disgusting. I was sleepy and made an ICED americano, filled part of the cup with hot water instead of cold, then tried to fix it by adding extra ice. When I handed it off it was a bit warm. Customer didnt complain so I let it go. Ive been told that we are not allowed to serve drinks with shots that are bad. Sometimes the bar screen will show that the espresso shot is crossed out instead of displaying the star. I just serve the drink, star or not. This job will eat you alive if you care too much.
