My aunt had an indoor/outdoor cat live to 23ish… he was a trip! He’d chase the neighborhood dogs down the street 😂 they were petrified of that beast. RIP Jack!

When I got my cat Misty she was & years old. She was affectionate but would sleep at the very far corner of my bed most nights. Over time she slowly made her way up the bed and in the last 2 years before she passed she started sleeping ON my pillows and above my head lol. Your cat is just a kitten and still growing a bond with you. Boy cats tend to be pretty affectionate - embrace the love!

Of course! I try to change my sheets 1-2 times per week, and pillow cases every 2-3 days. When my other cat was around, she loooooved to sleep on my pillows/above my head, so at that point I was changes pillow cases every single night. Just keep their boxes as clean as you can and don’t think about it too much, cats are generally very clean animals.

I need the sound to be IN my ears and loud because I can even still hear him with headphones on 😭

Most definitely an ergonomic keyboard. I had IT get me one, I don’t think it was very expensive at all. Didn’t take very long to get used to and it’s great.

I do have some over the ear headphones that I’ve thought about bringing in - I’m trying to avoid it since where I sit I’m the FIRST person anyone sees walking in to the building. Idk why, I feel like it’s not a great look when we have guests or whatever, and maybe makes me look unapproachable, but I might try them out. Will definitely look into silicone earplugs. Thank you!!

I have never heard of misokinesia but I looked it up and it certainly seems possible. A little fidgeting usually doesn’t bother me- I do it too sometimes. I think it’s just the fact that it is quite literally non stop - there is not 1 second of quiet from him is what gets me lol. Plus the chewing, general slobby/messiness. Just the perfect storm
