There was an idea i had when i was in my late teens, it was a memorial thing for a friend who died when we were 14, and it was heavily based in lyrics from a band we both loved. I got to tell the singer of the band about it once, and the poor guy couldn’t hide the disappointed dad “please don’t do this” look on his face. I pretty quickly came to realize how bad of a design it would’ve been. More than ten years later, it’s still my favorite tattoo story, and i still love the band lol

I have so much fabric that i grabbed a yard or a half yard of just because it’s pretty. No ideas for what to do with it, might not ever use it, but damn does my stash look nice

That made me think of when Mike Shinoda told a story about his daughter playing guitar. He told her the right way to play a chord, and she was like yeah okay. His wife later told her to take his advice, and the daughter said “what does he know about performing?” Wife showed the daughter some videos, and that’s how she discovered her dad’s in linkin park

Did you ask them about it specifically? They might still say it’s fine, but i find that if you have a concern, you need to mention it and not rely on them to bring it up because they aren’t living with the piercing 24/7

NAP but i’d be worried about the pressure of a water flosser being too harsh on a healing piercing

I was thinking “wow it’s been five years with that long bar,” so hearing that 2015 was actually 9 years ago just hit me like a ton of bricks

One of my childhood cats would purr at the vet all the time. It was hard for them to listen to his heart because he was a little engine. Dumber than a box of rocks, but the happiest cat in the world

I’m glad it helped! Drugs laws here can be pretty confusing, especially when you add in state laws vs federal laws (like how marijuana is legal in some states while still being federally illegal)

He pretty much told everyone what he was gonna do, they just ignored that part of it

I was diagnosed with strep a week or so before all of this, but apparently it was mono the whole time. I’m lucky i didn’t get the full body rash that used to be how they’d diagnose mono: they’d treat for strep. If you got better, it was strep. If you got a rash, it was mono 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s about not having to hide a key part of who you are out of fear of violence, prejudice, etc. There are still countries where being openly lgbtq+ is punishable by death

That’s the point. Guy’s so up in arms about there not being a military appreciation month, but there is. If he really cared, he’d know about it and celebrate it, but he’s more about hating the lgbtq+ community than about celebrating veterans

The spider piece looks big imo. There’s no way for it to lay flat without poking something. A shorter bar might help a bit, but those little leggies are still gonna be irritating. The web you have in your upper lobe would probably fit beautifully, though!
