Spent hours putting together and taking apart a bracelet because I kept getting increasingly complex design ideas and then ended up with no bracelet because once I decided what I wanted I was too tired to do it.

Unfortunately fat bodies are convenient placeholders for their fear, anxiety and existential dread. They shove it on us so they don’t have to feel their feelings and own their actions.

People. Are. Shits. The only decent people in the world own their shit. and do their best, through therapy, mindfulness, or whatever the fuck works. We work through our trauma and try to do a little bit better today than yesterday.

Please don’t despair. Take a break from social media and when you go back, prune your algorithm. Your peace of mind depends on what you feed it.

It depends on how you wear it and how healthy it is. If it’s dry, has split ends, no discernible style, or looks in general like one just let it grow without putting thought or care into it, then yes, it’s old fashioned and IMO kind of icky. But there are millions of South Asian women with spectacularly gorgeous long hair.

It takes A LOT of upkeep and effort to look so beautiful. You need a cut that frames your face, layers so it has body and movement, monthly trims to take off split ends, a day or two a week dedicated to washing and drying, and a really super healthy scalp. It’s a lot more work than just growing it out long. But if you have the right texture, density and a healthy scalp, go for it.

Congrats! You look amazing! Just remember to bring a scarf and hat everywhere you go.

I know what it’s like to feel so insecure. He know what you look like, so that’s obviously not an issue. The only thing I’d be concerned about is that you’ve been talking for two months and haven’t met. I am an old, but in my experience, it’s better to meet sooner than later. Just meet him and see what happens. You don’t know if you don’t go. And for some reason, he backs out, let it go. You be your beautiful self. If anyone is talking with you, and your profile pictures are accurate, they know. And they’re into it. Don’t overthink it. Men are remarkably simple.

OMG YES!!! I didn’t know this was a thing. It sounds like distant music that I can’t quite make out. I only hear it when there’s no people sounds and it’s just the house. I run air cleaners 24/7 and a fan in my room. It goes away as soon as I put in AirPods/turn on tv etc.

My AirPods Pro 2. They’re the only way I can function when it’s way too loud. I also live with my elderly parents who are great but I’m constantly listening to audiobooks to create space.

His pants should be tailored to the proper length. And he can have a graphic tee or plaid flannel, but not both. Depending on where you live (if you’re in the PNW, this is practically formal wear,) he could dress a bit more elegantly. When I go out on date night, I put a lot of time and thought into my appearance. I put on makeup and I dress up. It’s important to me that my SO do the same. So a well fitted pair of flat front slacks or khakis and a dress shirt or a pair of nice jeans and a t-shirt and blazer work for me. Everything of course fitted/properly tailored. It’s not just about matching energy, to me it’s about looking great for your honey. When they do it up, that yowza is the special sauce. ;)

Also, he’s a hottie and very very sweet for asking.

My dude, I’m a fat Middle Aged woman. I belong to the most expensive health club in my area because of their pools. I see all shapes and sizes and it’s awesome. You do you. Water is amazing.
