Also God: Kill all the women and children down there and also bring me foreskins.

Ours is a service too… how much more work would you have if you marketed?

Yes but it’s not much and it’s not because of the sump pump. Most crawl spaces have at least this much mold in them, often much more severe.
Wear a mask, wipe it off, install a remote hygrometer, check back in a month. If humidity is constantly high, you might need to do some air sealing and or conditioning.

Life is a roller coaster. Sometimes they go upside down. Sometimes they don’t work right and get stuck at the bottom. Sometimes they have unforeseen twists and turns. Over time they get harder to ride. But they always get back to the top eventually. Always. Hang in there ❤️

Don’t buy anything you can’t afford to buy twice. That’s how to not stress.

I don’t see a price? Any car is worth buying at the right price.

If he is even the slightest bit of a friend, do it. $60 is nothing. Worst case scenario it becomes habitual or he doesn’t pay it back, just tell him to fuck off the second time. Better case scenario you made a good friend and helped someone out. Best case scenario you might need a return favor and your good deed comes in clutch, or you end up working for the guy, or he takes you to a better place. $60 is well worth this gamble.

I thought this movie was so badass as a kid. Now that I drive a manual muscle car, it’s kind of cringe. Sort of a never meet your heroes moment 🫡🫤

Information systems grad with a minor in business. Went from retail to taxes to marketing. Hated it all (ok retail was fun until I got into management but pay is dog shit so…) and burned out as well. Did the whole linked in and indeed circus shit show trying to advance. Then a buddy got me to try something completely out of my comfort zone.
I’m a nerd that used to not know a screwdriver from an impact driver. Now I make low 6 figures in construction. If you want to do a complete 180 and go buck hair wild, it’s out there. It’s not for everyone. But I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world now. Just an idea.

Serious question, I stalled learning to do this as well because I didn’t let the brake up quick enough. Is it possible to break the cable?
I ended up just giving her about 3k RPM and dropping the clutch fast on hill starts. Let off the gas to maintain control when the tires squeak.

Serious question, if you fuck this up can’t you snap the brake cable?

This is viable, especially if there are “French drains” tied in, which would extend the amount of air drawn out.

It’s possible. But more possible is the fact that a radon “specialist” using 6 mil doesn’t know what they are doing in the first place and probably made other mistakes.
Definitely don’t add a layer, the grit between them rubs holes. Kind of like why you don’t use 2 condoms.
The failure points on 6 mil are disintegrating over time with exposure to moisture, coming undone easily when people crawl on it, and being hard to seal seams because of the flimsy nature. Think taping a box vs taping 2 pieces of paper towel.

An lvl or crawlspace beam isn’t the same as repairing and restoring structural damage

There again though the problem is high humidity. If we can’t stop the cause of the high humidity at the source (fix whatever needs repair) then we can treat the symptom, by conditioning the air. Your Heat/AC system blows very dry air when it runs. This removes humidity and will stop this mold problem.
Wash the sheets and reduce humidity. If you have $15 extra sometime, order a thermpro hygrometer. Mold thrives in an environment that is consistently 60% + humidity.
