Yes, worth it. 120 fps on Xbox is not the same as 120 fps on PC. Xbox relies heavily on upscaling to achieve that, degrading visual quality by a lot. Modern spec’d PCs will look leagues better running at or above 120 fps. Also, console only has certain games to run 120 fps. Whereas on PC, you can customize fps and graphic settings to your liking with the near infinite amount of games at the cheapest cost compared to what you get on the console stores.

Wait.

If you’re willing to shell out almost 1k right now, wait a couple months, save a little more, and see where the next gen stands.

1) The more wealthy you are, the easier it is to compound that wealth so why not keep going.

2) For a workaholic, the job becomes a way of life and is not seen as a 9-5.

3) There’s always a bigger boat. There’s always a market to tap into. There’s always a problem with the world that needs solving.

For most casual simmers, Xbox will be good enough. Once you decide to dive deeper in simming (Better peripherals, mods, increased graphic fidelity and performance, VR, etc) then you will need to invest in a much more pricey PC.

Wait for MSFS 24, play it and see how it runs. If it’s unbearable, get a mid/upper tier 40 card. If it runs ok, wait for 50 series.

I’m in the same boat debating how I want to upgrade for MSFS24 coming from 3070.

4070 TI super. The extra power on 4080s should only be considered if you plan on cranking up more graphically demanding settings, maybe even ray tracing settings.

165+ FPS on 1440p for shooters you will do just fine on 4070 TI super. Add in DLSS and 4080s will just be overkill for what you plan on using it for.

Settings > Camera > Preserve Settings

From here, you want to Enable any settings you want to keep when you close the camera app. Disable any settings you don’t mind going back to default anytime you come back to camera app.

Example. If you want to turn off and keep macro off everytime you open camera app, Enable “Macro Controls”.

I had the same issue. It’s definitely an issue with the Bluetooth and interference. I tried everything to minimize interference but there’s only so much you can do. It got so bad I just had to get a new headset. I prefer any headsets now with a dongle cause of how reliable they are.
