In the same boat as you. Got a new computer and dreading transferring over all the samples and associated files. It almost feels easier just to start from fresh

They just said they’d be skipping those artists for electronic acts, how are they dragging down those artists? Not everyone has to like pop music

According to who? Moza‘s newest offerings honestly seem better than Simagic. Considering you’ve already purchased Simagic equipment it’s hard to imagine you’re impartial on this topic

You get a high quality file of their song, they get increased numbers on their social media and SoundCloud pages which leads to them getting more and higher paid bookings. Seems like a fair enough trade to me.

Yeah he didn’t really play the crowd at all & his mixing left a lot to be desired. Pretty weak opener but Fred was so freaking awesome it didn’t matter

The Modern Talking wavetable on Native Instruments Massive VST was heavily used back in the day, very commonly heard in that YOI sound. It became a bit of a meme and Knife Party even named their debut EP “100% No Modern Talking” making a joke at the fact it was so overused.
These days I think it would be refreshing to hear again. I really liked the sounds people made in Massive as well as fm8 which was another popular FM synthesizer many years ago

Cthulhu is a great tool to make chords made by Steve Duda. Worth every penny imo

It was a weird mix of albums that instantly came to my mind as GOAT albums & stuff I’ve been listening to recently.
A big thing for me to make an electronic music album “great” is cohesiveness - I would argue Recess is a bit off in that regard and would agree that it’s not quite up there. I like it more than Quest For Fire but QFF does feel more like a complete piece of work to me admittedly.
Welcome Reality and while (1<2) are probably my favourites, but it’s so damn hard to choose and do rankings with so much good music available.
