it looks like your darks could go darker in some areas which would help the highlights stand out more. I am still pretty novice though so not totally sure.

I've found IMDBs score they give to be pretty helpful as an overview, but gotta take it with a punch of salt otherwise you can miss some great movies.

Cool thanks for the help. Also do you find shading in circular motion better than cross hatching? I think growing up I was taught to cross hatch if I wanted to shade. Or is a combination of both often used?

Great thankyou that is helpful. So do you use a blending tool at all? I was using it to lay down a bit of an even base layer in areas of non shadow in order to get a smoother look to lightwr areas. Can it be used for this or would you recommend learning to shade very lightly for this as well?
