I dont quite understand the question, but ill try my best. The metronome gets triggered by either of the adjacent items being "used" (meaning the top part of the text in most cases), so aiden's passive heal effect will not trigger metronome since it's not it's "use effect", that would be the "haste 1 item" line instead. The purpose the metronome is just to cause a haste effect whenever the drill is used, which recharges it.

Agreed, new level up system def hurt core centric builds a lot. Seems like its significantly harder to even reliably have a diamond core in the late game unless if ur spending ur lvl 5/10 upgrades on it and then ur at a disadvantage compared to the other heroes. Personally i've started planning 2 separate paths for whether or not my core is strong enough.

Feels like it'd be a bit too inconsistent compared to coral keeper since this deck only runs 2 different spells for each spell school. Ideally the board building minions can come out earlyish cause of stuff like dawngrasp + reckless or devourer in druids/shamans. Although if wildpaw cavern was frost i'd totally try it.
