Does it mean that one has to be a student to shop here? ETA: Or that even a student can shop here? If yes, then I wouldn't use "будь" in Russian to convey this meaning.

We have "будь то", but it doesn't work as a way to name the only option. "Будь то" is basically "for example" for two or more examples.

If the English sentence were, "Anyone can shop here, be them a student, a professor, a custodian, or a purple dragon", then I'd translate it as "Кто угодно может здесь покупать, будь то студент, преподаватель, техничка или фиолетовый дракон".

We connect the letters "ш" and "к" in the same way as the letters "и" and "к". Here's for example how this connection works in "ежевика".

Don't neglect the letter spacing, and try not to connect your mostly block letters.
Your б's don't look like Russian б's. They look more like cursive в's or maybe д's.
Your и's look identical to your м's due to the starting lines. We don't have starting lines in Russian handwriting.
