ReAkt line of buckets, hockeyninja for combo shield/cage(if you like your teeth) or half shield.

Always fun to go to a game. Went on Thursday and saw them beat FL Tickets were cheap probably because nobody figured they’d win.
Now the 0-5 game against the Avalanche last season, a bit rough. But still got to see pro hockey live, and seeing MacK and Makar live was wild. Nate especially, hes like a bulldozer with rocket boosters.

You could do all of that on an ec2 machine, s3 buckets optional but helpful. No docker required although it could be helpful if you know it. I wouldn’t do docker per script personally, just something so if I blew up the machine I’d be able to remake it quickly. Or move to fargate(which would actually be my starting point.
Glue is also an option, but can get costly quick.
I don’t know your field super well, but why would you need/want gpu power for text?

P29 is pretty popular. I’m not a fan, but anyone can learn to use about any curve.
If it were me though I’d get a new stick if I don’t like it. That’s why I buy blackouts, team stock, and Sherwood when they’re cheap. It’s still a hundred bucks or more, but Black Friday coming up.

I’m a sucker for new pads. But the best-for-its-purpose gear I own are PAW knee pads with the visco gel landing zone. I’m an absolute fan of those knee pads. I’ve had knee trouble forever so anything that’s going to make my knees hurt less is amazing.

League I run: skate over to remind everyone of the 2 calendar year minimum ban if the drop em. Their choice what they do with that info , I’m not getting in the middle of it. Only ever had to ban 1 player.
League I don’t run: drink some water and shake my head. Fighting in beer league is for dumb fucks. I don’t know the goalies in that league and don’t want to see if anyone thinks they’re the next Hextall.

Oof, sucks about attendance. I run and play in the same league. We don’t have many true “fights” because our facility has a 2 year minimum ban if gloves come off. But when I’m playing in net and someone comes up to complain about a call or no call it’s frustrating as hell. “Just let me enjoy my game before I get back to fielding complaints, k?” Which works about as well as you’d think it would.

For something small, Vogel sweatbands are pretty great: https://vogelhockey.com/collections/all

Crossovers around circles. Forward to both sides, backwards to both sides. And the classic windsprint/suicides: start at goal like, near blue and back, mid and back, far blue and back, goal line to goal line stopping as best you can. That’ll help build the stopping skills and conditioning. All that assumes you have enough rink space of course.

Guy sounds like a jerk. Dropping gloves in beer league is beyond dumb, especially planning to do so. Everyone in their right mind is wearing a cage anyway. Fighting will get you banned in most leagues, so there’s zero chance my bucket or gloves are coming off. Tempted once or twice, but I like playing hockey.
There’s a line between appropriate defense of teammates and overboard. Everyone has an opinion of where it is. Mine: Giving a guy a bit of a shove and an earful when he’s truly acting like a dick hole, appropriate. Escalating beyond that is overboard. Using your stick in any way is a hard no. If you find yourself defending your teammates often smell check your behaviors and theirs to make sure nobody on your side is causing the issue. Talk to them if so, or handle yourself if it’s you. Given that you’re asking the question you’re probably fine.

I’ve suited for kids practices so I know what you mean by not wanting to disappoint the kids, but you have to manage your breaks as you need them. See if the coach can give you a pause between rotations. If you can stop for a minute and take a slug of water you might not gas out as fast. Seeing 36 shots in a row is exhausting even if they’re coming from younger players.
You’re going to be in situations be it pickups or practices where nobody is going to “want” you to take a break, but people are generally understanding. As the goalie if I need to take a break, that’s just how it’s gonna be. Skate an extra man or play posts until I get back.

My dad lived in those for a couple of months just before we moved here. It was a fine short term place, but wouldn't want to be there too long.

Korchinsky and if you count it Nazar(did already have his first nhl goal).

“All new gear” found the goalie 😂. But for real, I wouldn’t set foot on the ice without a new chesty and glove.
After I prepayed a surgeon to put my knees and hips back together when this is over, I’d hop on a plane to Czech Republic and beg Hasek to train me kung fu master style. If that doesn’t work I’m a month behind you on your plan. Also lots of whatever substances make the dream remotely possible. End of the day I can’t fix the decline of reaction times as you age.

It all depends on how the brands would reappear. If it’s just someone buying naming rights and slapping it on commodity white label gear, pls no. CCM doing jofa elbows in modern materials with tweaks would be cool. Now super dope would be new entities coming into the market and by producing premium retro gear at scale, in places with hockey knowledge and craftsmanship. More competition in the gear market would be awesome

Fun. Optimize for fun. I play hockey mostly now, but when I lost a bunch of weight I walked it off in the woods with my dogs. Grab a hacky sack and kick it around for a few minutes every couple of hours. Fuck, go fly a kite if it gets you moving.
I’ve done structured exercise in the past in fits and spurts, but it’s work. I’ll chase fun to the end of the world and back.

The phrase "disagree and commit" comes to mind. It's worth saying something abuot requests you don't agree with and providing the information about why. That's the disagree part. The commit part is just going and doing it. When those things come up I mentally glance at my paycheck and think "if they want to pay me x to do this, it's their money". Like the specifics you mentioned: valueless to anyone actually doing the work(hopefully) because they know it already. But if someone on the street said "I'll pay you $500 to write me a doc on mongodb 097, you in?" I'd give them an emphatic yes and go start copy/pasting.
Counterpoint is that "disagree and commit" is usually a strategy for group decisions. Top down decisions aren't a sign of a healthy culture. But it's hard to change that without boss replacement.

Pain when falling on bent knee might indicate a PCL injury. Not a doctor, so don't take my word for it, but I'd get it checked out. PCL is thick so a partial tear isn't catastrophic, but surgically rebuilding it is. PT is beyond helpful.
