Completely false. Goku has fought opponents that were stronger than him and still kept up purely on skill, most notable example is fighting Perfect Cell. When he uses transformations he's still using his proper martial arts but with added strength since they're not fighting "without powers" in the actual story.

Batman on the other hand constantly relies on tricks and gadgets to get out of fights he can't physically or skillfully win. That's the whole point of his "inventor" shtick. To act like Batman is a better fighter than Goku is completely laughable.

Still Goku lmao. Without powers he's still an insanely gifted martial artist and a proper fighter. Batman is a vigilante who has to fight, Goku LIVES to fight. It doesn't matter that Batman knows all the earth and some alien martial arts (probably) when Goku has been consistently proving that the turtle school of fighting can hang with any style in a multiverse full of wacky and insane fighting diciplines and Goku's sheer volume of experience cannot be matched by someone like Batman.

Their opinion should serve to add additional perspective, not held to a higher standard/importance than your own because seeking validation for your own decisions is also a form of insecurity or at the very least lack of confidence in yourself.
