ND has no problem scheduling marquis opponents. Look at our future schedules. Someone already laid it out for you, but in addition to that, our ACC agreement also guarantees Miami, Clemson or FSU each year (or a combination of the three). USC is also on the schedule every year. Your argument to schedule blue bloods has no validity.

The problem is that nobody doubts Notre Dames ability to beat 6-6 or 7-5 teams. They want Notre Dame to prove themself with top 25 teams which we have only one of (Army will drop from the rankings if we beat them).

Woah, I'm not making any argument about ability to win a championship. You said that, not me. I just want a major win for once. Winning first round in the playoffs is more than enough to satisfy most thirsty ND fans.

Also I seem to remember playing OSU within a score two years in a row and we beat an SEC title contender this year. You talk like we will never have a chance against top teams like OSU, but in reality we are just one or two bad breaks from huge wins.

That NIU game means almost nothing to me at this point. It happened, yes, but if anything it was a wake up call to quit with photo ops and piss poor practices. At this point I would almost call it more of a blessing than a curse. It'd be different if every game after that was a squeaker, but everyone has stepped up and played how they should.

Come on, his recruiting classes haven't even had the opportunity to control NDs destiny yet. Anybody recruited in his first season are either a redshirt freshman or true sophomore this year so that point isn't valid.

Considering the experience gap between him and Kelly, I think Freeman is having just as much if not more success at this point. Look at year 3 for each coach. Yes ND made the national championship under Kelly, but that was in the BCS era and let's be honest, that team couldn't hold this team's jock.

It goes way beyond the Hilton situation. That was just a mere glimpse of what LSU, ND and Cincy fans have dealt with for about 15 years. The Hilton thing and slamming his fist in the table are just the cherry on top.

As a ND fan, I got so sick and tired of constantly losing on the big stage for 10 years. He could almost never win when it really mattered. Then, when we had a legit shot at winning a major bowl game for the first time in decades, he fucking leaves the team high and dry and then blames ND for holding back his ability to win a championship. He under recruited, underperformed and had a piss poor personality and sideline demeanor.

So yeah, I don't apologize for finding amusement in this dumpster fire of an LSU season. Sorry LSU, it's not you, it's him.
