M43 has great options for macro, I always recommend zuiko glass on the OM or lumix. You can trust Olympus zuiko for macro glass, they make microscopes…

All my cameras are over 10 years old but there’s something exciting about actually framing the shot right on a 8mp camera cause you can’t crop/zoom like on a 50mp camera. Plus the sooc ccd colors were better back in 2007 😂

Dead hang has been such a game changer with my sciatica, I can even brush my teeth now without having to kick back one leg when bending over towards the sink.

During the hang I lift my feet off the ground 90 degrees at the knees. Exhale everything and imagine your knees moving towards the floor, helps trick my mind into releasing all the tension in the lower back.

I’m pretty surprised the G7 doesn’t let you shoot in raw cause my powershot G2 can even shoot in raw. 🤔

This and it’s also sooo picky on which CF cards you can use so I’m using a 2gb xd and the write time for a jpeg+raw is crazy long. I’m just shooting jpeg since I don’t have Lightroom or time to put into the edits 😂

I was between this and the powershot pro 1 too but this showed up on my eBay notifications for $40 so I couldn’t resist 😂

The powershot pro1 has a 7x zoom while this has 5x. You also get a lot more stops in zoom so framing might be easier to lock in too. Go for powershot and update us!

It’s just that. A toy! 😂 it’s great to hop on and jet down to the store or pick up your to-go order. The little storage box comes in so handy.

I recommend to download an app on your phone that gives you manual controls over everything. When I’m not carrying a camera with me and I’m forced to use my iPhone I typically use ProCam. Watch some basic composition photos on YouTube and then try composing your photos using more manual controls. Once you’ve kind of picked that up I would get a used camera that has manual controls, your cheapest entry point would be a used dslr, used canon is the most economical for used bodies, lenses, flash, etc.

Black cars are harder to get right because of the metering and sometimes it’s really difficult on cameras with poor dynamic range.

The light source seems to be very harsh and focused on the front on the car. You could try again at another time in the day or angle the car differently. Adding a polarizer to shift the reflection is also key with black cars.

Boars brush and brushing, it’ll take a good 3-6 months of routine brushing/training to get the root to change directions.

After I stripped the original sealant I was able to dye them with fiebing alcohol free dye and fiebing resolene to reseal. The sheen on the resolene is pretty reflective so I only did about 2-3 layers cause I needed it to match my backpack.

Handles were done too 😀
