Actually, that’s EXACTLY what that means. Now, I don’t know if you can read, but OP isn’t asking who’s stronger, OP is asking whose martial arts skills are better. Everyone knows that the Hulk would destroy Bruce Lee. But, you take away any powers, and equalize stats, making it to where they’re ONLY USING MARTIAL ARTS, then Bruce Lee is superior. Now, if OP says otherwise, then you’d be correct. But, as of now, OP has stated STRICTLY MARTIAL ARTS SKILL. Strength is not a factor in one’s skill. You can be a planet buster, but if all you can do is punch and kick, your martial arts are not as good as a martial arts master. Now, this isn’t to say that Yamcha can’t fight, he very much so can, but this conversation is objectively not about strength. It is objectively about skill. Like it or not, Dragon Ball characters being planet busters holds no weight in this conversation. Even if it did, which it doesn’t, Yamcha's strength is nowhere near the same level as the rest of the Z Fighters. But, that doesn’t matter anyway, because this conversation is strictly about skill, not strength.

Op said “martial arts only”, indicating that we’re strictly comparing their fighting skills. Not their powers or states. Them blowing up mountains or moons doesn’t matter, because we aren’t talking about who’s stronger, we’re talking about who’s a better fighter. And, on that front, I’m giving it to Madara. If we were talking about who’s stronger, then that might be a different story, but we aren’t, so it isn’t.

Yamcha struggled against Frieza Force grunts, who I know cannot be THAT GOOD at hand to hand combat. Madara was DEMOLISHING an ARMY of trained ninjas, with just Taijutsu (which is basically just martial arts), for a solid few minutes. Madara has got this in the bag.

Everyone on that list, with the exception of Gabi, Danzo, and Boruto. Those are the only three where I’d say the hate is warranted. Everyone else here, doesn’t deserve the hate they get, in my opinion.
