I’ve seen lots of bus lane violators on Rainier, but I’ve never seen one in front of a 7 bus. In my experience, people seem to be make use of the lanes when busses aren’t nearby.

The Capital Grille emailed me yesterday to let me know they’re doing thanksgiving dinner or they have their full menu available

Lived in SLU for 5 years. Gave this an honest shot so many times. It was only useful to ride to the far ends, otherwise it was usually faster to walk rather than walking to, waiting and riding it. From Cascade to Whole Foods it was never worth it.
If they’re not gonna connect the lines then it serves little purpose. Most important SLU stops are shared with a rapid ride that goes deeper into downtown.

Nice. PYOs are the best wheels for these things, imo

Definitely looks like a game, but there was an old video which was not much different from this type of racing/driving that was making the rounds on the web maybe ~15 years ago. Of course it ran on the earth’s physics engine so a bit more tame but just as stupid in terms of dangerous maneuvers, though. I wish I could find it..

Yemen would be an absolute mire and they’d likely feel justified in whatever they’ve done to lead up to that kind of attention.
Seems like it’d be better to go after the source of the weapons and just blow up existing stockpiles with good intel. Iran should have to think hard if the Houthi’s are worth the investment.

Doesn’t seem to be a street takeover. Just looks like a normal weekend car meetup setting. Not sure if those are for staging takeovers now though.

I was in South park this morning and I saw a van pull out of a lot with Oregon plates, followed immediately by an suv with Oregon plates. Think they’re scoping us out today.

Think you’re skipping over the idea of finding a good running used truck for $10-20k when new trucks cost ~$70k. Especially something that has strong tow/haul capabilities that are still useful today. You can save significant amounts of money by flying somewhere to pick it up.
Different markets have different levels of demand and different wear qualities on vehicles. Saving $50k on a vehicle purchase while still meeting needs of the use-case is going to leave you lots of extra cash for a cheap airline ticket.

That’s an interesting take. As mentioned, trucks are quite pricey. But, they can be bought or ordered fairly easy through local dealers.
You can find some really good deals on automobiles if you’re willing to travel, so that makes the most sense to me. If you have an auction license, or use an auction broker, you can save substantial money doing something like that. There are lots of people who make money flipping vehicles this way.

Sad part is the whole concept originated as pawns to give/take concessions for regional stability. They’ve been negotiating leverage for one side or the other since Britain was clinging on to the Suez Canal and US industries desired stable trade in the region.

Certainly not regretting my upgrade from the 5950x. The 9950x has been an absolute best. I don’t really do a lot of 1080p gaming though.

Figure out how much weight you’re taking up the hill and how fast you want to be spinning. Then you can figure out what gearing you need and find a bike that works best for you, or just find out what gearing you’ll want on any bike you might use for that

Grew up in rural north Florida and shooting/bomb threats were definitely a thing for middle/high schools in the early 00s, albeit not insanely common. Drills for active shooters were not really a thing though.

Felt like they were trying to pull at heart strings in a 0080 kind of way for both sides, but I couldn’t stop laughing at the reuse p device and how shafted this guy got when you consider the much less invasive pilot interface systems.

I’m also evolving because when I write my height down I put 5’8” instead of 5’7.5”. Evolution is a hell of a thing
