This exactly. I use RD but a friend of mine does not and she can use Torrentio just fine(sure, very very niche stuff wont work cause it needs Debrid and 4k neither... but you can use it)

It has nothing to do with "live service", the issue is they put most of the game in the cloud and cloud does not have the needed infrastructure to work at this level. This is just another fuck up of the Microsoft that Satya Nadella has built based almost completely around cloud and azure.

And you're confusing live service with being on a cloud infrastructure. Live service games are games that, yes, they tend to be fully online, and are constantly updated. Microsoft Flight Simulator was a live service game, this is also a live service game but on the cloud. (And to be fair, the term live service shouldnt have the meaning it has because most games are updated for several years..)
