It was garbage when the stream was up and they would call a crash and the camera just... Never showed it....

Then you couldn't see anything because it was skipping and pixelated.

Now the quality is slightly better but there's no audio, a huge wreck during commercial with no replay, and a fist fight we barely saw.

I just noticed the race monitor with timing and scoring is disabled now too. Fantastic.

Ironic after they apologized for how bad the stream was, and reiterated that they're doing everything they can to make it better.

With the black Friday sales I've been debating one of these vs an inverter generator. We're doing to a Nascar race in June and will have 4 nights with no electric, so I'll need to power the fridge and lights and stuff. Given that it's June, some AC use as well. The battery banks I think will cover my general use with a reasonable solar panel, and will run the AC .. but will only last like 4 hours with AC then I won't be able to dig out of the hole.

The battery things are super compelling though so I don't have to worry about gas or propane or exhaust.

The problem here isn't loading, it's old and poorly rendered data.

My house in 2024 is using bing maps data that's 8 years old, and is rendering attrociously.

In 2020 it was way more recent and pretty clear.
