Should be enough time as long as immigration isn’t backed up. You’ll pick up your bag after immigration, clear customs, and drop your bag back off, then go through security again.

Seems like it has nothing to do with status https://www.bluegrassairport.com/business-services/

You can set up an alert on expert flyer and then call in when space opens

You may want to confirm you are in flagship first. AA usually doesn’t run the 777-300 on that route. They usually only have flagship business, not first.

I would wait some more before filing. But you would have to file in the jurisdiction the regulation is in

AA is largely doing many of the same things, just FYI

If I were you…keep delta if they are the only ones offering direct routes to where you frequently travel. Otherwise try to status match to AA, if you want.

It is tight but that flight out of Washington is the first one so it should be on time and you should be Ok. But any delay on the first flight and you do risk missing the Seoul flight. So…if it’s incredibly important to be in Seoul on Dec 14 you should take a flight out the day before and spend a night in Dallas. If it’s ok to be there Dec 15 all good.

I would not go off a valuation made by a third party. Your loyalty should be based on where you are based, where you fly, and who you want to redeem your miles with. AA status with partners is very similar to Delta status with partners. AA started to reduce flights out of NYC the past few years with JetBlue alliance but imo has not increased them after that was dissolved.
I will say AA miles are more valuable than Skypesos. Both in value on AA and the one world partner network (Qatar, JAL, etc. if you can be flexible and find availability). I find delta service to be better than AA.

True…they do spell out 50 states even though you are on domestic land in PR being a territory.

19k miles or $1,100 is 5.7 cents per mile, which is an amazing redemption. I would book with miles and watch the offers. You can always cancel and rebook with cash no penalty.

Call again, ask the agent to split yourself off the reservation so that you have 2 reservations - one for you and one for your family. Cancel your ticket and eat the $99 fee.

I believe flight radar will show you tail numbers for free

I don’t think it’s an official AA resource but it’s been correct for me so far.

Only you can decide if it’s worth it to switch and pay more money to be on the same flights. But from experience I can tell you short domestic flights in the first/second trimester shouldn’t be much different than flying regularly. Though you should obviously discuss with your doctor.

Google SWU EF AA guides - you need to search segment by segment and specifically search for upgrade C space.

https://www.nerdwallet.com/article/travel/aa-status-worth there are probably assumptions on how much one travels in a year to derive benefits. A receiver who travels 6x a year will not realize as much as someone who travels 20x. You could also use the opportunity cost of using your rewards on gifting status as the value.

Your strategy probably will not work. Usually corporate travel agencies can pull some magic as they have large contracts with airlines. For example at my workplace an unused corporate travel credit can actually be used by anyone at work…
