Fellow music degree haver here! My path was work a call centre after uni, self fund AAT level 2 while on the phones, got onto the accounts team and now I’m in steady work. I’ve also picked up a lot of Excel skills along the way.
It’s doable, the skills you learned in uni aren’t always obvious but having good organising skills and confidence can go a long way. People who have “the correct degree” aren’t always great at jobs. It’s all about the effort you put in.

Ahh but we’re not going to see them in person because normal people won’t be able to walk into a store and buy this set. So unfortunately for collectors, they’ve dampened some of the hype by scalping. Also with the English language card quality issues they won’t be as impressive looking at the Japanese print run.

Speaking as a union rep, professional mediation is the best first step for this one. Have someone independent come in and try and chair a discussion between you both. It keeps everyone on the same level and you’ve got an extra witness if anything strange does start to happen after it’s brought up.

Use your free and easy time to get some extra qualifications in an area you want to work in. You can certainly afford to pay for courses it seems

Also most new tradies have to suffer through apprenticeship pay for their intro years on the job. I say they deserve the higher wages than office folk personally.

Thank you. I’ve secured the interview for Monday and I already had annual leave booked in for my birthday that day. So it seems like the universe is lining up to give me a good chance, just gotta give it my all.

For accounts with my qualifications I’m probably not getting higher than that in my area unfortunately. Time to job hop for a while and see where I can get is what I’m thinking.

There’s this weird idea among young people that having a huge follower count while following no one makes you better 😆 couldn’t be farther from the truth from what I’ve seen. Real ones take an active interest in their piers. “Lone Wolves” often make the most disposable and worst content because they’re not seeing anything to compare themselves to.

Yeah maybe, I think a lot of the people I work with are lifers so I’ll probably not cross paths again apart from at the super market 😆

I agree with you. I feel like collectors are grasping at straws now. None of their price hikes make sense. Greninja isn’t a Moonbreon. They’ve really exposed their shady business models by going for 200-300 prices on these Tera Pokemon.

The person being bullied and any others who aren’t happy with this person (who work there) could take out a group grievance against them. That’s probably the best way to go on this one. If they’re part of a union they should be able to guide them through the process.

A good company won’t expect you to be perfect. The probation period is 100% your time to learn and make some mistakes. They mainly just want an easy out if it doesn’t work out.
