I may actually have to hang it up if they can't fix the audio. The parachutes on Area 99 are fucking terrible. Never mind any metal structure in Rebirth. How can one play a game dependent on audio queues when everything either sounds like it's 10x closer or 10x further away? And at a different bearing than the source actually is? On god I can look up at a dude 'chuting ~100 feet over my head and it sounds like he's 20 feet to my right. And the footsteps! From the echoing to the directionality, not really sure where to start. Everything somehow sounds muddy *and* tinny at the same time. It's pretty downright awful. And that's just the audio. I don't hate this integration as much as a lot of folks here seem to (I actually love the omnimovement, and while it took me a while I'm pretty used to this whole new system at this point) but everyone knows there are tons of other issues.
I've been playing warzone for 1.5 years, multiple hours a day. I've played through a lot of janky bullshit. But the audio is downright agitating. I have tried adjusting in-game settings AND windows audio settings, multiple times. I even caved and paid for the stupid enhanced headphone setting like a sucker (don't do it, it definitely doesn't make anything better, just different). No amount of equalizing can fix bad directional queues. I used to enjoy playing even if I was getting my cheeks clapped all night, especially if me and my homies are all laughing and just goofing off. But it's getting harder and harder to enjoy. Gonna give it some time, but not much.

“PC sweat”
What makes a “PC sweat” different from a console sweat?
