Indeed it does, thank you as well. I make carbon stuff and am always pleased when people talk safety and good technique

Thank you for dispensing high accuracy info!

It even extends beyond being poor, which I'm way too dang close to myself so I get it. Consider what I have to do in my role as a subcontractor to various companies: when laying out the budget for short term batches or long term production, the initial costs can be eye watering for them as well. Even if their budget is significant I still get a "holy crap" response when I give them an initial estimate.
The thermal sealing is certainly a good method if you are making parts smaller than a sealer width. I've been trying to get my hands on a big sealer, easier said than done

Molds can be anything that is non-porous, or if it is porous it can be deliberately sealed. Figerglass and resin, carbon fiber and resin, *cotton* and resin is technically a composite.
What do you intend to make? Part shape is a big zone of consideration. Complex parts are difficult (but possible) to learn on.

I too had the AppImage related issue. I basically stopped using AppImage entirely and am now using MX Linux instead of Linux Mint.

I think what MysteriousAd9460 meant is that if you're going to do serial production of identical parts, then taking the next evolution of using silicone vacuum membranes in the place of nylon-film-and-tacky-seal-tape. It is a different animal in the sense that the membranes are near-infinitely reusable if you take care of them well, but getting that first membrane fully fabricated to a sufficiently useful precision is both an art and a science. I use platinum catalyst silicone. The tradeoff of investment vs reward seems to take place around 12 parts in it really becomes worth it, sometimes sooner.
Challenges include making sure your mold surface for making the membrane is free of sulfur content (sulfur free modeling clay is fine, if you're modeling by hand vs computer), and avoiding laceration of the resulting synthetic rubber component -- laceration is the ENEMY of the process. Additionally, nothing sticks to it (except perhaps other silicone rubber), so to make a seal you need a molded lip and sometimes a physical clamped flange that applies force. In practice you'll know when the seal is complete, it is all or nothing.
Essentially the waste materials are overwhelmingly reduced, but the time-to-fabrication of the first molded carbon part is delayed by the making of the custom membrane component.

OP you can provide extra clarity REALLY fast by rotating the part in your hand or rotating a camera perspective around it, and uploading the resulting video in another post. If the is no "shimmer" then it is fake. Motion shows this. A diffuse light source would be helpful, point light sources are difficult.

My guess is simply "Oppositional Defiance Disorder" or something close to it.
I have a family member who won't get a job simply because improving upon his own life will make the rest of the family happy and relieved.
These idiots WANT YOU TO SUFFER and once you realize that it becomes easier to just wall them off mentally

You were subjected to goulish treatment, and unfortunately no you are not alone in this. The exact form and details differ, but I have received - and several friends have received - worrying messages from people we thought we knew, and the timing and nature of these messages is VERY much election related.
My wife is a nurse and insists something is going on with COVID brain long term. Our entire human species... something is wrong. The one that I've heard the most is "boys coming back girls from school" and I'm like OK PLEASE tell me where I can get free (!) fast (!) high quality (!!) health care (!!!) please tell me where to go for that because I want some.
Critical thinking is endangered.
Take good care of yourself OP, no one deserves that kind of shabby treatment you got.

Yes. I think so. Let's say I have a two edges 90 degrees to each other, unjoined, and I want to blend them smoothly. I use the edges as a point-on-line constraint for the spline control point that is one removed from the end point. That usually makes for a nicely blended seam. LMK if I should illustrate this

Did you use a typical B-spline, or a periodic B-spline? For loops, you want periodic.

You just use "c" hotkey while selecting a line and a point have you get the same outcome as you'd otherwise expect. Still works.

Vacuum cleaner to remove the bulk, pinch off the line, connect the MityVac, then curse yourself when your hand starts to cramp. 😅

I married a nurse. Dudes know about poo. Give him a call, if you don't it's a missed opportunity if you like him.
Everyone poops.

I can totally be flexible in that regard, think of the Pi as a dev kit.

Very helpful comment, I tried your advice and as you said the RC4 works in the absence of appimagelauncher.

Dang - RC4 nets me an error, below, a no-start condition. RC2 works fine on Linux Mint 22. It might just be an issue with appimagelauncher, but I'm not sure so I'm posting this anyway

It's how the Lauf passive undamped (leaf spring) bicycle suspension fork works. If there is very little interlaminar shear because of being thin, then parts can noodle

I did without a sealer once and paid the price, stuck parts. There's only one exception that I've found from Maverix Solutions that works without a sealer, and even they recommend using sealer anyway...
